Fraudulent text just arrive "SEFCU Debit Card Lock ! Member:518-xxx-xxxx . Urgent CALL: 844-875-7029
I don't have a debit card with them, contacted SEFCU Customer services and this is fraudulent.  Beware

My message stated it was from SEFCU. And it was a debit card lock..

I just got the same text message, but since I don't have an account with SEFCU I didn't call the number. I Googled it instead and found this site. I then blocked the number.

I just got same call but said they were from the credit union SEFCU, don't even have an account there

I got the same text message as everyone else above but the bank wasn't Chase it was SEFCU.
I don't have a card there either.

Just received a text saying debit card locked and member # (my cell number) which is not my member number! So i immediately knew something wasnt right and said to call 844-875-7029 which isnt sefcu's number so i googled it and found this site. Definitely a scam of some sort!

I got a similar message except mine was a text for SEFCU credit union. I just read something so I was not caught off guard.

Received a "debit card lock" text from 855-817-1927 supposedly from my bank, asking me to call this number. Almost fell for it, as my card from that bank is in fact missing. The recording asks you to press 1 to deactivate your card. I hung up. Most likely the next step would e to enter personal details. No thanks.

Text from 844 2335141 stating my debit card from SEFCU has been locked and to call 844 875 7029.  I do not have an account with this bank.  I figured it was a scammer.

I just received a text stating exact same thing - except instead of Chase it was for "SEFCU debit card lock!" Same phone number (844-875-7029). Looks like they are trying a different bank now. Beware!

Debit card Lock Phising text message

Just got a text from this number for a local credit union...I don't have an account with them. Scam.

Received the following text message(Phishing scam):
SEFCU Debit Card Lock!  Member: 3158848383. Urgent CALL : (844) 875-7029

I received a cell phone message claimed to be from Chase to call the number 844 875-7029. A member number was also given. I called it and I was asked to verify a credit card. I called Chase and the call was not from them.

Same as all the other posts but from SECU not chase!
