Just receive a call from Rush process stating that someone file a complaint against me and to call 844-883-8104 and complaint number is 56184 ???

Debt scammers.  They are trying to make you think a legal complaint has been filed against you.  This is a scam meant to scare money out of you.  Do not fall for it.

Ignore and block these calls. If you were the subject of a pending civil lawsuit, you'd have received a letter from the attorney for the other party.  You'd have a paper trail.

Then, if a case was filed, you'd have received a summons delivered to you by someone licensed to serve process in your locality.  You would NOT have first heard about any civil law case from some scammery-scummery debt collector who cold calls you and starts demanding money.

You can check this out yourself by simply going down to the local main civil court and checking the defendants civil list.  The court clerks are usually glad to help and are familiar with these kinds of scams.

As I say, total scam.  Ignore and block these calls.

Same here, or are you saying that I am guilty of illegal activities, and must provide my personal information and identification. Referred by scam call from 252-210-0085. I get between 10 and 15 scam calls every day, both cell and landline, have been a member of the do not call list since it began. I have written the FTC and FCC about these and other incidents, and their response has been worse than nothing. I am sick and tired of being afraid of my own telephone.

Oh wow I was reading your status and everything I'm reading on your status is true they called me and told me exactly the same thing I'm a person who has cancer in the blood these people are stressful who can i called  and report this

Received a call and threatened with civil suit claiming I owed on phone bill from 2002. Of course they ,TCG&Associates, would waive interest and penalty if I  was to send $100 a month for 4 months.  Please anyone reading this pass on to give out No personal information. Hang up.

My mom just got a call from that company tcg and associates. 1-844-883-8106 stating she owed from 20+ years ago and glad I called sprint to get to the bottom of it and YES we need to get together and do a class action lawsuit. File a claim with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. That's will hit them where it hurts.

I received a call from Jason w/TCG & Associates advising me that I would be served w/papers by the local sheriff if I didn't pay a debt for Sprint LPD - LANDLINE, which I haven't had in 10 years, at least. He asked me to confirm the last 4 of my SSN, I wouldn't confirm or deny, but was told that I couldn't get any information if I didn't confirm. I confirmed and then was told about this phantom debt that I do not owe. Called Sprint, they have nothing under my SSN that shows that I owe.

Claim filed with the Florida Attorney General's office and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I'm not playing around with idiots.

Scam call. Saying they were calling for UPS to make sure someone would be home to sign for documents or they'll go back to the court

Was contacted by TCG and Associates on Jan 29 2018 about a supposed Verizon debt for $423.38 in my name from the year 2000.    I called back and spoke with a woman named Sunny.   They gave me the Verizon account number that they had.    I contacted Verizon the next day about this debt.   Verizon knew nothing about an account in my name from the year 2000 for $423.38.   Verizon did have an account in my name that was fully paid by me in 2012.    I called back Sunny at TCG and explained what I had found out from Verizon.   I also informed Sunny that there is a statute of limitations of 6 years in my state, in regard to taking someone to court over a debt.   She apologized and stated that they must have made a mistake, and that she would get back to their legal department.    I'm sending them a letter requesting all of the documentation and proof on this Verizon debt from the year 2000, for $423.38.     This looks to be a complete scam.

Yes.. they called my father.. he called me worried.. they called me by my maiden name ..and that was 17 years ago.. I still agreed that was my name tho.. then asked me for my social.  I said no way!! Tho the number is 844-853-2142.. first time I called went to just a normal voicemail.. second time within 20 min.. someone answered and quickly said tcg assoiciates

I got the same number to call back on 844-853-2142 - sprint bill from 2002 with my maiden name, which haven't had that for 16 years.

Funnily enough, I got a call from someone, maybe this company but I can't remember, on the same "deliquent account." I had called sprint and verified with everyone possible that I never had an account with them in my life. That time I asked for a letter, and what they sent was pathetic. However, I called Sprint again with the account number they gave and sprint still insisted that I never had an account with them. What is scary is that I did give the last four of my social this time because that is easy to get if you know what your are doing, and she repeated my whole social back to me. So they have my full social. This time I am contacting the authorities. There has never been anything on my credit report.

I just as just called too. Same sprint scam.

I am wondering if you were able to contact the authorities and what they said. I was contacted by them regarding a Sprint bill from the 1990s!

I see there were multiple posts in here telling you which agencies to contact, one of which even has direct links in it.  No one will get "sued" for a bill from the 1990's since the Statute of Limitations has run out in every state and a lawsuit cannot be legally brought against you.

I received a call from Adam about a complaint forwarded to his office. They've changed the number 1-866-857-2931 but it still comes back to TGI and associates. These people are junk debt collectors. They buy old uncollectible debt for pennies on the dollar.
First and foremost never give these people any of your personal information. In some states you could restart the clock on debt that would normally be uncollectible. Most of the time if you ignore these guys that will be the end of it. The people in this thread that actually received a letter were the ones that called back.
When you receive these calls let them go to voicemail and then google the number. You'll save yourself a lot of hassle and worry.

Like everyone else, I too got that call. Except I did some research before hand. Thanks to previous complaints posted to this site by good natured hard working citizens I was ready to have some fun. When I called back they knew immediately who it was, I confirmed trying to sound nervous. She pretends to put me on hold then transfers me to a guy. I couldn’t wait any longer and called him every swear word I could think of. Told him who he thinks he’s fooling with such a stupid scam. I told him to quit calling my phone to which he replied he’ll call it 5 times a day then hung up on me. Haven’t heard back from that degenerate scammer. I do appreciate him allowing me to vent I will give him that.
