I get this phone call at least once a day. They don't leave a message. I did answer the phone once and they gave me a case number but asked for someone different than me. I called the number once and got an automated answering machine for Hall and associates to leave my phone, name and number and the case number.

"Hall and Associates" - obviously some kind of collection agency?
It's a computerized call.  IF you listen to it, it says call back to 845-678-6275, OR press "1" to be connected.
The EXTREMELY RUDE man requested our phone #, then asked for Jenn Trent or something like that.  When I said there is no one by that name, he asked if I know her - when I said NO, he hung up without the courtesy to say thank you or ???

RECEIVED A CALL FROM A LAW FIRM(COLLECTION AGENCY) IN NY. COULDN"T TALK TO ANYONE BEFORE I HUNG UP. Tried to leave a msg, but it cut me off before I finished it. Then I emailed them. If they call again, I will talk to someone in the NY BAR ASSOCIATION!!

These people at 845-678-6200 call me about 5 times a day. they leave a message saying I need to call them about litigation. Told me it was about a bill I had with BMG music which I payed 8yrs ago(Statue of limitations is 3-5 yrs in most states). Anyways the original bill I paid was for $120 to the music co. ,still owed me $40 of music. They say now the bill has reached $360 with interest,fees,etc. I have put them on call block. If thisdoesnt work Ill call attorney Generals office. These kind of people are the lowest form of scum.

Missed a call from  845-678-6200, but left no message. We will see if I have to endure what others have.  If the calls persist, I too will contact local and federal agencies.

I recieved phone calls from them missed 3 of them and the person "Jay" left messages for me saying I owe someone money. Finally on the 4th call I answered and the supposed "Jay" said I owe $160 for Chipotle 3 years ago. I am fishy about this he told me to go to Walmart and get a money-order and send it to an adress not listed up their.

I suggest to report it to the FBI. Found something that might help....

Received a number of calls from this number for a person that is not me.  They just will not give up.  I have talked to them and said it was not me.  I am getting calls again.  Said she was Faye Jones from Hall & Associates.

I got a call from these people saying I wrote a bad check to Branding INC and wanted me to moneygram them 171.55 the next day I told them no I dont know anything about the check I asked if he could email me a copy he replied "NO IF YOU DON'T PAY BY TOMORROW I WILL PRESS CHARGES" For one I don't know anything about this company I have never lived anywhere but FLA why would something be in NY I told him go ahead this was awhile back and nothing has been pressed on me so whatever this sounds like a scam I would be more then willing to pay the money if I knew this whole thing was real he couldnt tell me the bank the check was wrote from or the original amount. He just gave me a cash number and some random check number that states in my book I wrote it someone else not Branding INC who is that!? and the check was for only 22.00 so I am just wondering did anyone actually have them press charges on anyone? Because I have yet to see anything.

Here is the address for the "law firm".  I spoke with one of the attorneys and told him to remove my number, since the addres they gave did not belong to me.  Any further calls would result in harrassment.  We will see if it keeps coming.  They look for name association, and call whatever number comes up.  As a military veteran, I cannot stomach the fact that these leeches exist.  Here is the address of the firm, if anyone needs it to have your attorney send them a letter:  Hall & Associates

They must just keep looking back for years to find the check you wrote for $4.94 that was returned for NSF. It happens, but I'll be damned if I'm going to pay $104.94 for something like that. Parasites.

Keep getting calls from 845-678-6200 Hall And Associates for my dead mother , she needs to contact them for a case number immediately to resolve don't they have any thing better to do than harrass people. they will not be getting any money from her

Called twice with recording asking for someone who didn't live here. I called back after the second time and the phone was answered by one person who transfered to another who I told there was no one here by the name they were looking for. The person said it would be sent to litigation and ended the call.

got a call from a sonny bron with a so called law firm concerning cds ordered from columbia house in 2004.ive never ordered cds from anyone.keep us posted on other scammers from this number.hall and associates law firm is a ligit firm but not this #.they ask you to go to walmart and get a moneygram for a specific amount mine was $256.48 and they give you an adress orangeburg new york.please dont send them anything and report them to this post board.

was it columbia house and are you my buddy bull in ky? did they say call within 24 hours or they couldnt help you?

I'm also getting  phone calls from this number 3-4 times a day (at least). I've tried answering to tell them to stop calling (I have a baby and I'm tired of her being woken up), but when I answer no one is there. I am getting extremely frustrated but not sure what to do.

We keep getting calls from these people about a check to Papa John's we supposedly bounced in 2003.  We didn't even have a checking account in 2003.  They gave me a check number, but won't give me an amount.  They can't even tell me what bank the check is written on.  I've asked repeatedly for something in writing, but I'm still waiting.  When I call them, they put me on hold and leave me there.

They call for an Andy.  No Andy here.  They keep calling and only mumble after their speil.

I have gotten 3 calls from these people, the first 2 I didn't answer if it was a law firm it would have had the name of the firm, the third call I just got I answered and asked that they not call this number again and they were very rude to say the least, with the yelling so I asked they not call back and hung up.
It's really sad these people have to go to this length to try to get other peoples money.
