Received first phone call from this number today and decided to look it up online, which led me to this site. I didn't answer it since I didn't know the area code. Here's to hoping I never have to deal with these #*@holes!

got a call today! they would not give specific information to the person that took the call for me. The woman said her name was Sunny Bron.  Also, the area code originates in the Catskills area of New York State. Thanks to the other posters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!this has REALLY helped me!

Received a call from the above number this morning.  Called back and was transferred to a very rude man who said his name is Dan Daniel.  I explained there was no one at my number by the name he was trying to reach.  He replied "well, how can that be"? I told him to remove my number from their list and he said he'd have to see....to which I replied if I received another call from them he would be hearing from my lawyer.  Still feeling uneasy I contacted the SC BBB and was told how to handle it if they called me back.  Later I looked up the number and found this web-site.

Received a call from the "Law Firm" for a Roselyn.  Called the number back to let them know there was no one at my number by that name and never had been and I didn't know a Roselyn.  Spoke with a male who said his name was Dan Daniels......he was very short, abrupt and rude saying "well, how can that be"?  Told him I didn't know but to remove my phone number from their records to which he replied he'd see. So I called back and got someone named Bert, who was very nice and thanked me for calling and he'd remove my name.

These snakes have been calling me twice a day. I went to a Spanish Translator website and learned how to say "No Habla Ingles" (I dont speak english) and "No Comprendo" (I dont understand) when I see the word "Law Firm" on the caller ID I answer the phone they get a spanish speaking lady that doesnt understand english.  Its VERY fun!

same deal here except his name this time was george james real original names they got i guess but he was extremely rude about columbia house cds or dvd (he couldnt even tell me which or what titles ) for 220$ way back from 2002 when i didnt even live there in 2002  called my parents house 6 times today so i was curious and called them back and that is what i found out ....which led me to search the web and here we are

THIS COMPANY CALLS THREE TIMES A DAY WITH AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE

They have been calling here for weeks. I didn't answere for the longest time because I didn't know who it was. I finally answered and they said the needed to speek with Jay C*****. My husband's name is Jason C*****. They said they were hired for Columbia House to collect money from Jay C*****. I told them there is no one here by that name and to not call again. They have called 2 times today. Both times putting me on hold for over 5 minutes. I told them if they call here again I will be reporting them for harrassment. And I will!

this is a total FRAUD!! received a call from them saying i have a legal issue and gave me a case number to contact them to resolve the matter... total scam to get people to call them so they could get your personal information! Ignore them!

i had a call to my job, however i was on another line and couldnt get it. when i didnt recognize the number, i googled it and found tons of blogs where people get this same call and that they try to access personal information. this morning my daughter called and said that my younger son had texted her from school that he was worried about me that this office called his home and said if i didnt contact them, they would come to my job and arrest me after 11 am today. i havent lived at my old home in several years and my ex husband even has a new number so i dont know how they are finding these numbers. i reported this to my supervisor and she advised i get in touch with my attorney general. i have filed a complaint and they are going to investigate to see why these people are using these intimidation tactics to get personal information from me or any of you out there. i think this is horrible!

I did not recieve a call but I got a letter stating I owed $190.  so I called them and they said it was from a check to papa johns in 2004.  i told them to send proof and they said I had to contact my bank.  I contacted a lawyer and called them back I told them they are responsible for sending me the proof and I mailed a letter stating the same thing. I also stated that if they did not have a certified copy of the supposed check I was considering the matter resolved and for them to cease contacting me.

Just called them back...they call 5x a day...

Asked them to take my number out of their system, they told me it takes 24 hours...I work at a collection agency and I know that it not the case...

I expect to be hearing from them within the next couple hours...as usual!

Keep getting calls for a woman named April.  Really annoying.  I picked up yesterday and the man asked several questions such as "am I sure I don't know anyone named April."  Actually I am positive I don't know anyone named April I said.  He actually asked me again if i knew anyone named April, and was this such and such address.  He told me that he guessed they have the wrong number.  I said "you think". Guess who called again this morning???

Called this number back and they wanted my phone number.  I wouldn't give it to them and they got rude and said that I would have to accept the conciquences if I didn't give them the phone number, then they hung up.  I think it's funny how they have no Idea why they call and won't give out info as to who they are.

asking for columbia house debts

I had a similar situation. A man called me and gave a name of Drew Turner and he was from Hall & Associates. He said I owed money from 5 years ago to a music company. He kept talking and wouldn't even let me speak. I hung up on him and he called again. This time I ignored him. I later called him back and told him I was contacting my lawyer. He didn't believe that I had one and told me to fax confirmation to him. I also wrote to this music company to let them know that this man was trying extort money from me for a bill that I paid. Anyway, I told a friend what happened and she put the # in the computer and this site popped up. I'm so glad I found this site. Thanks so much; from now on I will be ignoring calls from this idoit.

Here's an ideal I used when they would not stop calling.  Next time number comes up, answer Federal Burrua of Investigations, see how quickly they get off the line!

Now that is funny!  I may just answer next time they call.  Seems like it's at the same time everyday.  I finally unplugged my phone.

I've received numerous calls from this place asking for a Gilbert Laguna with a case file, left a message with them today to stop calling.
