[***] have now called 7 times.  I've now answered twice.  They ask for someone -- something like "Shakarat".  when I say there's no one here by that name, they immediately hang up.

foreign person keeps calling

I have received repeated calls from this same number to my cell phone. 847 area code seems to be the Chicago suburbs. If it's a foreign call, why does it show up as this location? Any idea where they get people's phone numbers?

this number is the Colorado Technical University, an online school, that is legitimate, granite, pushing with there frequency of calls, nonetheless, return the call during the business week and if desired request to speak with a supervisor, ans demand removal from list of contact.

The number called me over 30 times and had me quite scared. I am grateful to read that I am not alone or that it was any kind of stalker.

This number has literally called me between 5-10 times a day for the last 3 days.  I haven't picked it up yet.

Caller has called 20 times in last three days -- at all hours of the day and night.  They never leave a message.  I have not once picked up because I do not recognize the number.

The number 8477838341 called me numerous times about every two hours for a day.  Never left a message.  I called in an demanded to speak with a supervisor. Operator would not transfer me until I threatened to call police for harassment charges.  Told me I needed to give her personal information.  I told her I would not.  Talk to Matt Lamb, told me he was director of admissions.  Director number for him 1-800-416-8904 ext 82582.  Call him to complain.

that number calls my 13 year olds cell phone at least twice a day, sometimes more, i have all my phones on a do not call list, guess that was a waste of time!!

I called and requested to be taken off their call list, they asked me who THEY are calling for!  I said they NEVER leave a message, and there is n o reason they should be calling my 13 year old.  I asked WHO will be removing my number, he said "IT", I said then transfer me to the "IT" department, he says, "they don't have anything to do with this!!"  What a moron!!!  He then hung up on me

I was getting repeated phone calls from this number as well. My cell phone is registered with the Do Not Call list and I filed 2 complaints with the FCC for this number. I then emailed from the Do Not Call site and asked if I need to file a complaint for EVERY call I've received. I haven't heard back from the FCC, but the calls stopped as of Friday afternoon when I filed the complaints. I also left a very angry message for the Matt Lamb guy (in an earlier post with his number/ext - thanks!). If the calls start again, I will start filing a complaint with the FCC for each one. Maybe if everyone files these complaints they can shut these people down.
