I want them to stop calling me.

i dont answer numbers when i dont dont who's callingbut they have called 3 times today.  They won't leave a message.

They started calling my house on Thursday, then once Friday afternoon hit they also called the cell. I have no idea how they got it. Right after calling the home phone they call the cell.

I pulled the phone cord out this morning so it wouldn't wake anybody up.

I filled out a survey online about education.

I'm an idiot!

They now have my number!

these people keep calling and never leaving messages. i'm tired of their phone calls.

Everyday I receive 5 to 6 phone calls to my cell phone from this phone number! They do not leave a message. I am working! Don't they have any other thing to do? If it is so important, why they, at least, do not leave a message?

I just started receiving these calls. I have just arrived in the Kingsville, TX area prior to receiving the first call from this number several hours ago. I have now received two calls from this number. I have details of where I may have give my telephone number in the past 24 hours, and will give this to those who respond, so that they may have more of an idea about how to track down the calls origination or at least some clues.

Yea right. I am sure this conversation really took place. You sound like someone who looks for attention and just wanted to post something in the hopes that others would chime in. I have received several calls from this number and have spoken with them several times and have yet to be yelled at, cussed at or anything else by them. As annoying as there several calls a day are i just dont believe your story.

Call is from Lockport, Il.  That is all I can determine.

They won't stop calling me! They never leave a message. It's harassment!

We have had numerous calls from this number.  Can't all of these reports be provided to someone to get these people fined for harassment?  If the government really wanted to do something for the American people to make our lives less stressful they would make an effort to stop SPAM and harassing calls.  Until they see what's in it for them it won't happen.  We don't have a lobbyist to line their pockets, all we can do is vote.

I received a call from this 847-783-8341 constantly, I do not answer, because I don't know the # but it is driving me crazy that they are calling me so often and waisting my minutes...

Most likely, this telemarketer is using a predictive dialer to call your cellphone. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) forbids such calls.

Two things you can do:

1) Report the violation to the FCC here: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do

2) Sue 'em. Whether you received only one illegal call or multiple calls, the TCPA gives you the right to sue for damages to the tune of $500 per call. You can file suit yourself (usually in small claims court) or retain a consumer law attorney who will take care of it on your behalf. Many times, by the way, the telemarketer settles out of court.

Well the lawsuit wont get you anywhere, the only way that company gets your information is you have gone online and requested either information directly, or you filled out a survey to get a gift card, etc for free. Nothing is free. Unfortunately when you fill stuff out read the fine print, I work in the IT field so if you don't want calls, use a wrong number when trying to win stuff, it will stop the calls for sure. With all the companies out there that sell your information from forms you fill out, unfortunately you gave consent for them to call, the school is not telemarketing, they are responding to your information that got to them. So to win any lawsuits you have to prove that you don't use a computer, and didn't fill out any forms. Good luck
