Her name was MaryAnn Miller.
I don't need unwanted calls at my job, - anotheroneYep, got a call at my place of work too. Julie Miller 847-913-1750, caller ID shows 847-913-1617. She said she is in the office today & to please call her back. Like most people, I don't cb people who don't leave their place of business or reason for call. Don't know how they got my number at work.

- BDI have been getting calls from these weirdos for years on my work landline. "Michelle Myers" called me today from 847-913-1750. Same as everyone else, they never leave any info, try to make the vm sound like it could be work related stating that she'll "be in the office today."
- SW| 1 replyVM on my work number...Julie Miller...callback number 847-913-1750, caller ID number 847-913-1617
- Regina replies to SWReceived a VM from "Vicky Nelson" in a very tired, blah voice asking to please call her back at 847-913-1750 caller ID showed 847-913-1773...same as all the others. No details as to what they were calling in regards to.
- KatheCall from Maggy Davis at my place of work, asking me to call back. Number on the caller ID different from number she left. Thanks for the posts. Won't be calling her back.
- ZsaZsaWell I think I have figured out a way to irritate them, instead of them irritating me. If you're lucky enough to have caller ID and be at your desk, pick up the phone and don't say anything. what they really want is to leave a message, but they can't. The first time, I answered, and they hung up "wrong number' They called 3 more times, from a different number 913-1678. I picked up the phone, but did not say anything. someone breathing, then hung up. Called back again, same treatment, they did not say anything. They have not called back. It's unfortunate that they can get away with calling us at work.

- LaraReceived call at work to return call to Cindy Richards, no other identification. Call back number 847-913-1750. Didn't recognize either. Googled and found this site. Not returning this call.
- EmSame as other entries here - called my work number and left a voicemail - but name used was "Cindy Richards".
- Joleen| 1 replyThis women's clothing boutique (Beth Lee) ignores Do Not Call laws and calls women at their workplaces. They will call you several times a day even if you are registered on the Do Not Call registry. Unbelievably unethical company. Multiple complaints all over the internet about them including on Yelp and the BBB.
Saw this on another website -- if you don't like getting calls from this lame company at your work place, send your complaints to their registered agent/president: Gloria J. Klein, 21398 Prescott Court, Kildeer, IL 60047. Or better yet, call their president and complaint about their tactics -- (847) 438-9448!- Caller: Beth Lee Ltd.

- FayeBoy, these folks have a lot of "Miller's" working for them -- Julie called me at work this AM -- second time they've tried to reach me and I won't be calling back. Creepy...

- Faye replies to JoleenOne reason they target workplace phone numbers could be that, except in rare instances, no one puts their work number on a do-not-call list. I don't believe my company (10,000+ employees) allows me to do that and it would cause more problems than it's worth to even try. Home and cell #s are registered on DNC list, but they can still track me down at work. Question is, how do they 1) find out I'm a woman, 2) get my first name and 3) get my work number even in an organization of this size? Most systems here are locked down tighter than Ft. Knox!
- What happened to no, thank you? replies to Go Away| 1 replyWhat a horrible thing to say. There's nothing worth than using the internet as a hiding place while making beyond reprehensible comments.
- Correction replies to What happened to no, thank you?* worse than
- LinaI can tell you exactly what's up with this, because I worked for them in the late 90s. (Frankly, I am downright amazed that they're still in business).
It's a house in Arlington Heights, full of designer clothes on the upper floors. On the lower floors, there's a room with a few cubicles, and another with a couple of seamstresses. They have big binders full of work numbers and extensions for local employers. I don't know where they get them.
The night girls would grab a binder and start calling numbers. If a man's voice mail answered, we'd cross it out. If a woman's voice mail answered, we'd leave a canned message: "Hello, this is [fake name] from the Lee Corporation. Your name has been referred to me. Please return my call at [number]," and make a note in the book that the phone belongs to a woman - so KEEP CALLING. If an actual human answered, we'd hang up, but still make a note.
When people called back, one of the day girls would try to talk them into coming to the boutique. But people really did seem to shop there, though I never interacted with them! I quit after a few months; I was fifteen, and my mom got sick of driving me. So that's their deal.- Caller: Beth Lee, Ltd.

- UnanimousGloria from Beth Lee Boutique called from 847-502-0875 indicating there was a whole sale event for Motorola & Discover employees on 11/4 at 1401 McHenry Rd Stev124 in Buffalo Grove Il. She was inviting to come from 7A - 1P and claim my gift certificate to be used for clothing from Macy's and Bloomingdales. She got my number by some at my work (she commented to follow-up on who referred my name). Another rep from the same company, Sandy was calling from a 815 number, no message just constant calling to talk to me.
