No message, scammer.

Most of these calls are from foreign countries - they fake the call back numbers anyway.

 The DNC list is useless against foreign countries we have no jurisdiction and their goverments aren't going to prosecute them

No police in the US will come out because you got an annoying call!

 AND the DNC list is only for certain calls that are based in the US  We have no jurisdiction over foreign countries

Please stop wasting our LE's time with silly complaints over phone calls - just don't answer your phone unless you know the number - tell your friends and family to always leave a message especially if they are calling from an unfamiliar phone!

Doofus left a message saying I needed a "credit card review". Yeah, right.

I like many others are getting these annoying phone calls saying this is the last chance to lower my credit card rate.  I have asked nicely to take me off the calling list and they still call.  They hang up on you and when you call back you get the message box is full.  It is very annoying and has been going on for a long time.  What can we do to stop this from happening?  Any information is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

These people have called me a least 100 times.  When I speak to them to tell me not to call again, they hang up.

Well they called my house today and i kept trying to call them back but it wouldnt work, so i tried to look it up on the reverse phone lookup, but they cost money. So eventually i found this website and started calling them back some more, except i started typing in random numbers and it asked me for a password. I cant figure out what the password is but this is just strange. Then, my phone called me and asked for the password. Got this call at 6:05 pm.  Came across as Unknown Name.  Previous posts state someone about lowering credit card rates.  Got the same call as Bank Card Services, but from 616-980-2030, at 1:01pm today.  Know this is scammer due to we have been in bankruptcy now for the last 2 years.  I am not answering because all the other times I use to I always told them I would let my bankruptcy lawyer know.  They just keep on calling.

Obviously it is a scammer violating the national Do Not Call list (at least in my case). Do not answer.

Getting calls from 848-467-0709 NJ.  Have not answered them but getting very tired of hearing my phone ring all the time.  I have better things to do than spend time listening to scammers spout their poison.  DO NOT CALL does absolutely nothing.

Scammers,frauds,extortionist are not about to use the DNC.. its only going to keep a honest business honest! Not going to stop those law breakers and scammers that spoof even the honest business numbers & names.  And those real ones that do, get fined and socked pretty good, you need to file reports..  But don't think its going to stop those scams,extortionist and thieves! Charity's and Political calls are also exempt..   but most will remove you if asked!

Keep receiving calls from this number, when called back, I am informed the number does not permit phone calls to be received. Annoying!!

Identified themselves as Card Member Services.  
Offered Debt Reduction Service.

I asked Card Member Services for whom?  They answered all Visa & MasterCard Card Holders.
I asked why I was called I am on Do Not Call Registry.  Please place me on your do not call list.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated.

Credit card scam.

I've been receiving these calls from different numbers but all check out the same from what I am reading. I turned on my printer which causes phone calls to ring twice and then go to the fax machine. I'm plan on using this feature for a few days in the hope that all calls will receive the fax tone and I will eventually be removed from calls lists. Since the phone rings, my caller id will identify the calls and I can keep track of my efforts!

Really irritating - is anyone really stupid enough to give their credit info to an unsoliticed caller. Sick of these jerks calling all the time; they just hang up when I tell them to stop calling. The DNC can't stop them as they are not legitimate businesses who can be found. If they are out and out scammers they really couldn't care less about a fine -the fraud they are committing would be a larger crime and they arenlt gettng prosecuted for that.

technically it is a violation of the fcc for this to go on. if they refuse to remove you even if from another country they can be fined (not that they will get the money) but it is a legal violation in this matter!
