these "sonsabitches" wont stop calling me even after i spoke with them directly " CREDIT-CARD SCAM BEWARE AND BE WARNED !

this number called me, left no message as I was not available. I do not want calls from this scam company.

Today is the first time I received a call from this company on my landline, I did what I do with all calls I don't know, I unplug the phone line from the jack and wait five minutes to plug it back in. Because no one answers it the must mark it as a number that is no good. I never get calls from same number twice. One time I thought it was a friend that was calling so I answered it, some company that wanted my address so they could deliver the medical alarm system I ordered. Of course I did not order one, I have had one for over ten years. So they started calling every day. Then I unplugged it every time they called, it has been over a month since they have called. So if you at home all the time just don't answer it, or put yor answering machine to pick up after six rings, most of the companies hang up after four rings. Good luck with all these scammers.

i called it back and it said the subscriber has requested that they opt to not receive incoming calls

I just missed a call from this number and decided to look it up.  Glad I missed it.  
Get a real job you punks!!!

Never answer a call when I don't recognize the number and it isn't a local.  Then look up number and find info such as this identifying scammers.  Then add the number to my mail box but set my ring tone to NO RING.  Then at least I don't get bothered when they continually call me.

Got a call saying New Jersey.  Didn't answer and no message.

Actually, in the event of credit card fraud, they will come out...it's more than "an annoying call!"  Had an incident in TX, called the cops... they actually sent a Detective, who was actively working a case out of Houston.  So, yes, do call them.  They will contact you if there are enough complaints about a particular number.  They can't catch the criminals unless we help them locate them!

LOL! My son answered this one for fun! Its just good ol Credit Card Services Scam. Got a slightly new twist to it... The robo message was the usual last chance spiel, but also said time to renew and we've tried to reach you 3 times!

Soo, he punched the one to speak with them. He calmly told them yes (with me listening on) and that "We have told you many times to not call us!"  Which I guess left the guy stuttering.  He then went on, Awww, whats the matter? Is the poor baby gonna hang up now? And promptly hung up on him!

So, I filed a complaint with the DNC & FTC..

I'm only posting to give another angle to this marketeer/scammer situation.  First of all the Do Not Call Registry is broke.  The laws and the pursuit are too week. The DNCR is under the Federal Trade Commission, FTC cannot keep up with the volume of illegal robocalls.  In other words, it's a free for all for these identity thieves.  One thing I know, there are Marketing agencies such as Direct Marketing Association, DMA that collect our data and sell it to others, then charge us consumers a fee to opt out of their elaborate listings.  Try opting out, only to find at the bottom line there is a $5.00 charge to opt out of the mess they made of your personal info.  DMA is not the only marketing agencies, there are more so check out your credit report for anything that you were unaware of. I still advise strongly to pound on your local consumer agencies.  The DNCR is worthless as it stands. Every so often I see news reports that the DNCR cannot keep up with robocalls.  1800 notes is only a blog from what I see and they have no weight in this mess we're in and it's good to rant and rave about it. The best thing to do, when you purchase anything and your info is requested, specifically request that your info not be shared/sold or rented and be nice but firm.

Decided to chat with caller so waited about a minute.  Told the caller I had 6 credit cards, each with a $30,000 limit and that I presently owed a little over $40,000.  He got excited.  Then I played stupid and confused as to why he was trying to sell me yet another credit card.  I continued to be stupid but after a little more than 5 minutes, he hung up on me although he did refer to me by name. None of what I told him was true!!!  Don't know where he got it but I think Chase/VISA has sold my name.  I'll call them next.

The caller ID said it was Rahway. They were calling from (848) 467-0709 and said that they had done a
review of my account. If I had less than $3,000 total on my credit cards they could help me get a lower
interest rate on my credit cards. The 848 area code is out of New Jersey.

Got a call - similar to above.   No way to opt out of the calls.

Just another numbnut operation fishing for people who are a couple quarts low up top.  How about the guy who thought he taught the scammers a lesson by sitting on hold for 1.5 hours?  With punishments like that I don't figure the scammers will be going out of business anytime soon.

They call every day and I finally pressed 1 and spoke with a scammer.  She asked what I owed and I told her $175,000.  She asked what card it was and I said the do not call card.  She asked again and I told her I didn't remember.  She asked if I had a bill from them and the name would appear on the bill and I told her that I threw away all my bills because I didn't like bills.  I really had her going for awhile and I felt good because I wasted some of her time.  I hung up on her too.
