"Mrs. Wilson" has called my home and my cell phone repeatedly saying that she is calling from the state dept. in order to resolve complaints against me for 2 counts of fraud and bad checks.  She claims that if I do not call back and resolve this issue I will be served papers for court in the morning at work.. The first time she claimed that I have court in the morning but then changed her story.  She couldn't answer what state or dept she was calling from, said she was an out of state rep and that if I don't rush to contact the plaintiff with a case number she left, I would be facing litigation.  She would not name the plaintiff. She has spoken to my grandmother and my children as well as left several messages within a few hours time.  The most bothersome part of this is that she started throwing out names of other family members, who there is no record of a connection to me in any paperwork, anywhere.   I know that these charges are false and I am very concerned about how this person has my personal information to try to scam me.

I also got a call from Courtney Wade.  I decided to call the check the court website with the so called case number that's bullcrap and nothing is filed at the court in my name so I know it's bogus.  See they can't serve me papers from the court unless they actually file.  I work on a military base so I called her bluff I told her to let me know who and when they come to make sure they have a valid driver's licence, proof of Insurance and registration. I will also need to know when they are coming so I can call the gate and they can issue them a pass to come serve me at my desk with my supervisor standing by me.  She was pissed, didn't give me the name of the person who is supposed to be coming.....lolol.  Don't worry about them,  Sleep well people.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

    Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010  FBI National Press Office
    (202) 324-3691

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

This call is intended for (my name) You're being contacted from Enterprize Tech Systems concerning a returned item from your personal checking account. In regards to the following file number #####. At this point and time we need a return call from you or your counsel at 8552013475 and be advised, this is not a solicitation. This will require an immediate response.

First off, I have had no bounced checks so I have no idea what they are talking about. They made no threats at this time. I swear this is related to earlier scams of numbers I have blocked in the past. They are just trying a new approach.

If you had a returned check, you would have been notified by your bank long before it went to a third party. IF they call again, demand WRITTEN proof of this "debt" MAILED to you.   Taminath gives many options in a message above yours.
