I was feeling a bit feisty, so told him my nephew works at Microsoft (not true) and asked for his badge number so I could ask my nephew if he knew him. Line went dead really quickly.  Probably didn't help anyone, but it was kinda fun to turn the fraud tables on a scammer.

Another  scammer claiming to be representing  Microsoft.....they must be buying a list since they knew my full name but had an old address from 5 years ago.

I too got a call from these morons. When he started his spiel I said I couldn't hear him very well and asked if he could hear me ok. He said yes. I asked if he was sure. He said yes he could hear me. I said "Oh good" and proceeded to repeatedly bang the phone down on my coffee table with all the force I thought it could handle. I hope he has a headache. :)

1:25 pm EST.  call...no message left.  Seem to be getting at least 2 of these a day. I don't answer.

Last call was May 27...Same deal...no message. Slow learners

Got a call 15 min ago from this scam artist. He told me he was from Microsoft and I told him he was a liar. He got real agitated and told me that my computer was a great risk for a virus. I told him that if I found out who he was and where he was that he was a great risk for a knuckle sandwich and to stop calling my house. Added the number to my call blocker. These guys really piss me off.

This number keeps calling me but there is never anyone on the other end of the line and they don't leave messages. Sooooo annoying!

Call received from this number today with no msg. left. Based on this thread, we will block. Thanks to all who post to help the rest of us.

Makes false promises just like the right wing candidate.  Assured me yesterday that my Internet access would be cut off iif I did not allow him access to my computer.  He would be better working at a Hot Air Balloon event filling their balloons with his hot breath.

Someone called me with thick Middle Eastern accent, but because I'd ALREADY read on this and  other sites they're scamming people, I was READY and told him I KNOW it's a scam. He said "You bought a service and it's my duty to report to you.." I asked what is he reporting? He said something like I"m due a refund. I hung up.

Has called several times purporting to be from Microsoft,  A total scam, Keep telling them to discard my # - to no avail

Guy from India wanted my husband .  Asked if I was his wife.  I refused to answer.  I told him I was on the"federal do not call" list.  He said ."This is not a marketing call.  Your computer is full of viruses ."  I told him. "You are full of soup."  He hung up.

Pretend to be Microsoft support. Asked me to run 'netstat' to see established unauthorized connections. After seeing some suggested to execute 'run' for bizarre website something like www.zzz.re/abcdef (not the one he asked to enter). Indian voice.

I received a call from this same guy today but he told me someone was using my internet then I asked him if this was the same scam as the Microsoft scam and he replied YES!!  What an idiot!!!

If these Basterds call yell at them and cuss them out until they get their [***] f***** by government

The police is definitely tracing them right now, these [***] will be arrested soon! 🖕🏿

I have reported these basterds, I hope these scammers get arrested and get charged with the highest level of crime and get deported to where eve the [***] these [***] holes are from
