I got a call from them claiming they needed my help to find the people who were using my ip address to do illegal stuff and I was going to be held responsible for these crimes, so I needed to go online in order to find their location.  They gave me my home address, which made me a little nervous about who I was dealing with, but I blocked the number again.  Next week it will be another scam.

Have had a call from this number 12 times in the last few months. Blocked them early on but they just keep calling. I let the phone ring once just so that the call is logged and I can enter it into a database that tracks the scam callers. One number has called 79 times since I started tracking the calls. Certainly an occupation from some of these idiots.

They call me everyday.  Finally, I answered:  "Detective Johnson speaking.  You have reached a crime scene.  What is your relationship to the deceased?"  Click.

When the activation key for my Microsoft software on my new computer didn't work, i called the support number ON THE MICROSOFT WEBSITE (844-777-7886). A man with an Indian accent answered, almost surprised. (That should have been my first clue.) I did what I shouldnt have done: allowed them to clean the Zeus Trojan virus off my brand new computer. I purchased anti-malware software, entering the cc# online as the man confirmed he could not see my screen. The next day, our bank called to inquire about a questionable purchase on my credit card: $200 spent at a Walmart 30 miles from my town. We cancelled our credit card. Hopefully, that is the end of it. I should have taken my computer to The Geek Squad at Best Buy or I bought the computer. Dumb!

Big time scammer using an 800 number so folks are more likely to think it's safe to answer.  Do Not answer this call!  With all the reports about this number you'd think they'd knock it off already.

As with all the rest of the commenters here, guy with thick E. Indian accent has called repeated telling me we have viruses in our computer, and though I've told him repeatedly that I know he's a scammer, that I have a Mac computer (not really, but he's lying, so I can too), that I'll turn him in to the FCC, and in very loud shouting to STOP CALLING HERE, he keeps arguing & calling.

NEXT STEP AND I ADVISE YOU ALL TO TRY THIS: GO BUY AN AIR HORN CAN OR LOUD 'RAPE' WHISTLE, AND NEXT TIME HE CALLS YOU, LET HIM HAVE A BLAST! It'll hurt his ear and make him think twice about calling again, dirty crooked little blasterd!

Well, they are still at it.  This is only one of several numbers for the Go-to-your-computer scam.  It probably won't do any good to tell them "Allah doesn't approve."

I totally ignore most of the "800" numbers that call in unless they start to talk on my answering machine.  That way I screen my calls.  This call comes in at least 3 times per day.  Let them call all they want.  I am not picking it up!!!

Daily calls from these jerks**** 1st got a call from this number (855-210-3300) saying that my PC is sending out errors, ask them to remove me from call list, which they declined to do.  when I questioned they said they were with Microsoft Tech Support, asked where located: 1st said Homestay, FL (think he meant Homestead, FL) asked what was near couldn't answer; asked for supervisor, asked him where HQs was, he said California, I asked what city, he hung up on me.  20 minutes later got Recorded message from 844-711-3211 says that it's from Microsoft & that my license had expired & they are discontinuing on my computer.  Who are these yahoos?
