- brandon| 6 repliesHey guys, so my name is Brandon and I actually work for Higher Education Solutions. I'd like to try and inform a little about what we do just so you guys know. First off if you are receiving multiple calls a day from us please tell us that, we are working to fix that issue with our automatic dialer. Secondly, we are definitely not a scam company, on the contrary we are actually incredibly helpful.
We are a third party company contracted by both the DOE and colleges nationwide to try and decrease the overall delinquency rate of student loan borrowers in America. Most student loan borrowers didn't know what they were getting into when they took out their loans, some knew and things didn't go as planned with schooling, and almost all student loan borrowers didn't know they have options to postpone their loans and also different payment plans that are available to decrease payment sizes and things of that sort. We are here to bring those options to their attention and get them in touch with their DOE loan servicers in order to simply help them out.
We don't profit off of borrowers, and we don't try to reconstruct things to make money. We are not debt collectors, we don't attempt to get borrowers to even make a payment, that's not our focus. At no point in the phone call do we ask for a borrowers social or card number, we only verify date of birth for government regulations in order to verify the person's security on the other side of the phone. We do not give information out to any other companies to contact you.
If you are receiving a call from us it is because you have either been delinquent on student loan payments, or your number has been somehow connected to the person we are calling and asking for and they have been delinquent on their student loan payments, and all we're trying to do is simply help figure out your situation and get you away from delinquency, negative credit reporting, and possible default. If we have gotten it totally wrong and your number isn't connected to who we're asking about at all we will gladly take you off any call list we have and you shouldn't be called again, we cant know that unless you tell us this so please understand that mistakes are made in every aspect in life and are simply unavoidable at times.
In conclusion we would absolutely love to help you out, if you have questions whatsoever give us a call. We operate on EST between the hours of 9am and 8pm, Monday-Friday. Thank you, hope this was helpful.- Caller: HIgher Education Solutions

- Gunnar replies to brandon| 1 replyOh Boy! "Brandon", I don't even know where to start. I'll tell you what. You're a Scammer & a Fraud. Now, that being said, why don't you come back here & try to refute my statement?
I'll be waiting "Brandon".
Skeff Ett Liv!
Gunnar - BigA replies to brandonWell now "brandon" who doesn't know his name is started with a capital "B", that is not exactly true is it? You are a lender with several different names. You see "brandon" who doesn't know his name is started with a capital "B" you came to the wrong website to try to legitimize your scam. Well, guess another scammer gets outed here. Hope you have some job prospects lined up because something tells me your boss is not going to be happy that you drew attention to this criminal enterprise.
- BigA replies to GunnarGunnar, you misspelled his name, he is "brandon" who does not know his name starts with a capital "B".
- BigA replies to brandon| 1 replyMaybe you would like to start off by explaining why you are calling people who never had student loans?
- Gunnar replies to BigAThen, of course, the long winded "brandon" underestimates his opponents. It's not like it's hard to know who is contracted with the DOE. The fool spent a lot of time composing that post. Desperation knows no bounds.
Some people spend a lot of time trying to convince themselves that they're intelligent. "brandon" just discovered that 6 hours trying to compose a fraudulent post resulted in nothing more than proving he's an Idiot.
Gunnar - BigAYou will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it. It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it. You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file complaints with the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

- Aria replies to cce2343Funny you say that cce2343 because I don’t have no loans but they have called me for a couple years now!!! It’s a SCAM!!!
- Aria replies to brandonTry again “Brandon”!!! You are nothing more than a scammer trying to get people’s money!!! When you call, harassing people who have no loans, that’s not VALID!!! Also, if it was a valid company, the location would not come up unknown & when the number is searched, it would come up with the first thing being the company’s name and site!!! What does come up is pages like this letting people know it’s nothing more than a scam!!
- ScottThey called me at 938 AM and I'm trying to call them back to troll them. Lol
