received a call like all of the above, for my step son that hasn't lived with me for 8+ years, from a Kristen at ext. 340.  supposedly a "civil suit" is pending.  Googled the phone number and came up here.  :((

I have been receiving calls for two days now. they have enough called a few of my family members to get a hold of me. Even shared the information with my family members. It is against the law to disguise someone personal information with someone else. Telling my family members that they would two count check fraud on me. and would put a warrant against me. Come to find out thru this site that it is a scam.. If you receive a call from these people here is the number to call and report them 1-800-922-1594. the Consumer affair department. and you can notify your local police department. Please be careful they have already got me for $150.00 before I realize what was going on.

OMG I hate these people! They called me in 2009 when my husband was deployed I explained to the lady that he couldn't call her due to his situation and that this would have to wait until he came home from Afghanistan. She started yelling and told me that if he didn't take care of his magazine debt that they would have cops right there to pick him up as soon as the plane he was on landed on American soil. well he landed nothing happened. Then 4 years later ironically my husband is serving his 6th tour and I get that same phone call.  Except this time they wouldn't speak to me about what was going on but I know what they are getting ready to try to drag me through, not going to happen! I am already on the do not call list so their number will be reported

I have been receiving calls from Natasha Trent saying she is from the law firm miller davis and peoples....I believe they got my number because I filled out information on a foreclosure web site....I figured quickly that was a scam because the man wanted me to send him $3000 to help me with my foreclosure...shortly after that I started getting these annoying calls from Natasha....I believe the two are related because the name I used on the foreclosure web site was a name I normally would not use!!!  disgusting predators!!!

I have been contacted in regard to my song in law, saing that   he has been cited into court case number SC95154
they say to call back at   855-5592998  its a fraud.

I just got a call from Kathy Mitchell from this number stating a civil matter has been filed against me and I need to call her.  I acted as if i were my sister and asked had she mailed me anything she said yes just a liar I'm going to report this number to somebody they are scamming BIG TIME...

Our country is too soft on scammers. I wish the penalty for these kind of crimes was death by hanging.

Maybe I will trace their calls and deal with them myself.

I got the same call this morning, same drill. They had my current and previous address and last 4 numbers of my SSN. They claim they mailed me paper copies of the file 2 months ago and that they won't do anything else but take me to court. I got them to email me (to my spam email address) the file and they actually sent me a "bill" with no details on the claim or anything else. I just filed a complain with the FTC, will be filling a police report later today and I'm getting a 7 year permanent alert on my credit file. I'll post a scanned copy of the later later so everyone knows what to expect.

Just received a call from 855-268-4195, saying in regards to a civil suit, googled info on it and found out it is a scam, I have excellent credit and the used a last name I haven't used in 10 yrs!

These people are still at it!! They called and really had me thinking that I had ordered the magazines.  I asked them the name of the magazine and they said that their client did not provide that information.  I told them to call me back when they had the information.  Another person called back and the scary thing is that she knew my name, previous name, previous and present address, DOB and the last 4 of my SS#.  That really had me thinking that this was legit. When I told her again that I needed to know the name of the magazine, she said that she would just forward the case and I would have to go to court....for a 19.00 magazine subscription!! They also had my NEW PHONE NUMBER for my landline and I don't even use that phone or know that number.  So I'm thinking...where did they get all of my information?? Since they originally called on that unlisted new number land line, I assume COMCAST sold my information!! These people need to be stopped!!! The first call came from a Steve Pollars at Miller, Davis, Peoples at 855-268-4195 ext 345 and the other calls came from Ms. Ashmore 855-2684195 ext 310. What can we do to get these people??

Some lady called our home asking for a 240 dollar debt over magazine service. She mentioned a company called Great American Readers which scammed us for some money about 3 years ago. We filed a police complaint and talked to our bank to stop their bogus and fraudulent transactions. We still have the police report on our files and I told her to send us information about her claims. She threatened to file a civil law suit against us.
Please be aware that this company is a fraud. The lady who called said that her name was Mrs. Green and when I asked for her full name she said that her name was Christen Green to which I asked is it Christen with a C or a K and she proceeded to spell the name Christen with a bunch of other letters that made no sense.

They called me telling them i owed them over $2000 for magazine debt but they could settle it for $300. I was at work and told them to call me on friday when I got paid. I called them on friday asking them for paperwork through the mail so my lawyer could look it over, that was the end of that conversation. Caller was Ms. Ashmore. Scammers.

Joseph just called me... Long overdue magazine subscription using an address of my deceased father from over 10 years ago. Also had my last for of my social which is a little scary.

Regardless, I told him to email me everything and to send the "Civil Suit" to the Dallas County Courts. He then tried to over me a Veterans Day payment discount as it was discussed that I'm a veteran sitting here at a Veterans Day parade. I told him I wasn't paying a penny!

He number came up odd on my cell but it's +855 40 338 60. Another words 855-403-3860.

If you find the website for this law firm it is so cheesey. I have never seen such a webpage for a atty the way this one is.

I got a call from Joseph Williams too.  I did what my friend who happend to be a lawyer said to do and now I am getting phone calls from some girl that will not give me her name but only that she is the senior investigator and that they are proceeding with my civil suit.  How do we get the calls to stop?
