I received a call from 18554033860 the man left a voice mail stating this is Joesph Williams with the miller Davis and peoples law firm and that i was being sued to call him back asap and gave a case #.

Big scammers, trying to rip off the unsuspecting!!

Looks like another "Buffalo Bully" type scamming debt collector.

Not a law firm.  They call themselves a "consulting"  or  "arbitration" group
which is scammer double-talk for debt collector.  Do not call them back, block their calls.

If you do talk to them:  

Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

There have been overwhelming complaints about this company. All to similar to multiple "companies" in the past that we have investigated. We have been running an investigation on these people for years are planning to bring them down. They have been doing the same scam for years under different names. All the numbers are used from one building and trace back to an address of 975 Hertel Ave. Buffalo, NY 14216. We have it set up that they will be raided in the coming weeks so don't worry about it. Just contact the Buffalo Police Department with the issue. What they are doing is illegal.

That's interesting since that address is a shopping mall with various businesses in it.  Google maps shows a street view of a billiards business as of September of 2014.  So looks like you have a little more "investigating" to do, if you even know what the word means.  I have to wonder if this isn't some sort of vendetta post.

This is a SCAM! But they are good at it!! Be aware...They had my previous address, my FULL SSN, and our unlisted phone number that no one outside of our family is aware of...everything they say sounds legit until you start asking the right questions; then the backpedaling begins! There is already an ALERT on this company from the BBB, from which they aren't even accredited. Any respectable firm would want a BBB accreditation even if it was just to reassure customers....Share your experience with others so that they can be wary, and file a complaint with the BBB...I have.
