It's 24 Hour Fitness... Likely calling because your auto-payment was returned NSF. I love how all of you blame these "bad mouth people, annoying....." because you don't pay your bills. If you pay your bills on time, the calls amazingly cease.

It would amaze me if all billing was accurate, all businesses were honest, and all debt collection calls had a valid purpose.

They called a few times and I've answered every time but there was only a very soft mumbling on the other line that I couldn't make out. From reading the other comments, it's supposedly 24 hour fitness calling about membership renewal but I couldn't hear a damned thing whenever I answer.

My credit card got comprimised so I have Been trying to call these ppl and just get put on hold for ever, I give up and I am cancelling my membership, the place sucks anyway, my car has been broken into, twice F this place. I told them, they could care less.

Maybe you should update your payment info for 24 Hour Fitness.  Maybe that's why they keep calling you.

This number is not just about not paying bills.  It's to harass even those who followed the letter of the contract and the law.  
Due to poor poor service from them (seriously, they are the rudest folks ever even when offering to want to pay more for a better club, so I changed clubs), I wrote them a letter describing their bad service and told them to desist from taking funds from my account, that I had quit.  They complied but now they harass with calls from this number.  Why would I change back and I will continue to tell my bad customer service story in addition to their un-necessary calls. A day late and a dollar short.

I receive these calls once a day in the morning/ mid-day/ afternoon/ even early evening... I have never answered.

I have only visited a 24 HR fitness as a prospective member, but never provided CC information, and never became a member.

I will be blocking this number, as they have no reason to be calling me; and calling me consistently for such a long period of time!

they called me and then I called them back.  we went through the usual verification process of who I was, only to be told that my account was paid and up to date.  Hmmm so why did they call?

The number is for 24 Hour Fitness billing dept.

Answered because I sent out applications to companies. Got an automated "hello" and then got disconnected after 4 seconds. Interestingly enough I paid my 24 hour fitness bill, so I don't get it.

Receiving calls every single day from this company to our corporate number.  They hang up once I answer.  When you call the number back, it gives your very loud feedback intended to hurt your eardrum.

I Just got a new number for my cell (i changed #). I started getting calls from this number With no message left.

I believe the worst about this number. I feel an operator or operators are pulling a scam. If you have recently been a victim of credit card fraud and have submitted credit card information to an operator from (855) 283-3957, please contact me (fordingfjord@yahoo.com). I have twice been a victim of credit card fraud in six weeks' time. Given that I only had the new card for six weeks, the culprits are few; chief among them is a soft-spoken ESL woman (early 30s?) who's collected a bit too much information from me. I want to bring down the axe, but first I have to be able to defend my speculation. My name is Jeffrey, and I couldn't be more serious.

They call me "several" times a day and VERY annoying.
When I did answer a few times, it just hangs up.

However you feel about 24 hour fitness, this number is definitely them. I was receiving calls twice daily for the past few days. I answered the first time and was on hold when the call dropped, so I looked up the number and believed it to be a scam. Got two more calls today so I called 24 hour fitness's member services and they told me the credit card on my account had actually expired a few weeks ago, which had slipped my notice.

Definitely better ways to get through to customers (email?) than shoddy twice-a-day phone calls. The guy from member services was friendly and helpful though.

These numbers call me constantly . Many times a day and don't leave messages.
