Contact the FCC, your State Attorney General, and a consumer protection Attorney.  They are responsible for your legal fees.  Good luck!

You have every right to dispute the validity of any allegations under the Fair Debt Collection Act.  If they fail to validate your request within 30 days you no longer owe and can even file suit if they continue to contact you as harassment and defamation. Good luck.

Somebody named Brian Lawson called 3 times last week looking for someone we never heard of, he left this phone number and a reference number to call back, never mentioned any company name, the number that was on the caller ID does not match the number we are supposed to call back. Today I got a call from the same number, from "Sue Grey" but sounded like a man, with another reference number to call back, again the same story, this time he mentioned my husbands name.  We NEVER answer the phone unless we know who is calling and we do not call back unknown people either.  Sounds like another scam.

It’s a violation of the Fair Credit Laws and should be reported to the FCC, State Attorney General, BBB, and others. The mans real name is Joe Papagio, he does use a persona which is illegal and if he continues to call the wrong number it may be perceived as harassment. Also be sure to document these calls so you can pursue a civil suit.

These calls are coming from Joe Papagno and wife Bridget Papagno located at 4201 Church Rd, Mount Laurel, NJ.  Notice the website isn’t set up to make payments or with the actual address listed?  Definitely a bottom feeder collection agency.  I would not give these idiots your credit card numbers or anything else.  Deal directly with Suburban Propane.

Here’s how you can find these idiots since they don’t want you to know anything about them, but think they know everything about you:

    https://www.facebook.com/joe.papagno.3
    https://www.facebook.com/bam818

They like to robocall your phone also, so give them a taste of their own medicine and robocall their phones.  That is if anyone actually answers the phone.  You get a fast busy signal any time.  That’s when I knew even more so it was a scam.

Brian lawson called looking for my mother from 484-474-5771 and left a message saying that she or her lawyer could call 855-299-2900 x 2005. I called back to tell him that he had the wrong number and he started spewing my old address and that I was listed as her daughter, basic info you can find on those info collecting websites. When I told him that I wasn't going to answer any questions because I didn't know who he was or what he wanted, he went off on me, calling me a dishonest person and that he had been in the business for a long time and knew a dishonest person when he met one.
basically, he projected himself all over me.
The biggest thing that marked it as a scam wasn't his [***] behavior, but rather that there were none of the alerts that it was an attempt to collect a debt, as required by law.
It's a scam, call him on it and report him.

I have been receiving the same phone call that many other people have been getting telling me I owe money on a loan from 7 years ago but will not provide me with any documents and the same thing threatening me with court and yelling at me arruguing with me telling me that they did  and they did not send me any documents by email or regular mail and yes I agree any normal business would not do things this way so be careful this is a scan the last number I have is 844-569-8558 extension 341 so they keep changing numbers also.
