- Pittsburgh Scam GurusThis number is a legit number for Ally Bank/Ally Financial Services. They shouldn't/wouldn't be calling you unless you or someone in your household has some type of business with them, such as accounts, CDs, auto loans.
- Caller: Ally Financial aka Ally Bank
- Call type: Debt collector
- Pittsburgh Scam GurusThis number really is Ally Bank/Ally Financial Services. They shouldn't/wouldn't be calling you unless you or someone in your household has some type of business with them, such as accounts, CDs, auto loans. I don't believe they do random cold-calling or sales calls.

- AshleyI know its a scam because it shows up as “no caller id”. Then leave a message saying its an important message call this number. Doesnt say anything else besides hours they are 10am until midnight which are odd business hours to me.
- Stacy replies to KaijaIt's not a scam call. It's Ally Financial. Vehicle loan company.
- Lepad*1This number has been calling me non stop. It’s annoying. 855-306-6998. No one answers. How can I block?!?!
- Mellie| 1 replyIf this is truly Ally Financial, then they are itching for a lawsuit. I work at a business that is closed on Saturday and Sunday. I just finished going through the caller id's logged over the weekend and there 9 calls received from this number, including one at 8:08pm Sunday evening! We have a vehicle loan for the company through them, but the payments have always been made at least a week early, so they sure as heck wouldn't (or shouldn't) be calling about that. If one of our employees has a loan through them, and hasn't been paying, there's nothing I can do about that unless they want to go through garnishment on them, and until that happens, I don't appreciate being bothered. Since they don't even leave a voicemail, though, I'm left assuming that it's a scammer, and I'm not going to answer the phone when I suspect it's a scammer.

- Scott replies to TammyPretty sure its Ally. I have a car loan through them and even though my payment is consistently scheduled to be paid online they still call to make sure I know when my car payment is due. They literally call 3-4 times and today they called my work. They never leave a message and my account isn't even past due. They also send me three letters a month. 1: to thank me for my last payment. 2: to let me know when I am due again. 3: Two weeks before its due, they remind me of the due date. Next time you purchase a vehicle be sure to STEER clear of Ally.

- ps| 1 replyAsian or Philippino woman, couldn't understand her except I think she asked for someone. I said not here and hung up. Got to block this area code. Hope I wasn't charged. And register on DNC list.
- Caller: Could not tell
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- BigA replies to ps855 as noted at the top of the page is a toll free number. I don't know how you would be charged in any case for an incoming call unless they called collect and you accepted the charges.
Before signing up for the DNC, please be sure to read everything about it. Debt collection calls are not sales calls so they do not have to scrub their call lists. - Brian| 1 replyThis is in fact Ally Financial. All you have to do is call the number back and listen to the greeting "Thank you for calling Ally Financial." The number isn't listed on their website because it is their debt collections number, not a sales/support number.
- Caller: Ally Financial [confirmed]
- Call type: Debt collector
- BigA replies to BrianThat proves nothing as scammers have been known to set up their phones to sound like the real company. They even steal the recordings to do it. Now, I guess I would have to wonder why you looked up a number when you claim to already know everything there is to know about it?
