- star| 1 replygot a voicemail from this company today. guy said his name was mark, calling for me, said this will serve as a final notice, they need to verify my address and employer. called it back and the woman that answered the phone said the company name is COASTAL and I'm being sued for money falsely deposited into my bank account on behalf of their client. she said she needs to verify the last 4 of my ssn and my employer, when I told her not until I understand what the call is about and who is suing me. Then she hung up on me.

- Cal| 2 repliesI received a call from this number today. They told me they were calling on behalf of their client who had something to do with a payday loan company. They knew my address and where I worked. Red flag went up when they told me that I had done this transaction in June 2012, and when I asked how they got the cell phone number I've only had for a month, they hung up.

When I called back the woman on the other end was extremely rude and wouldn't come clean about who they even were. How is stealing people's money like this not illegal?

- J.T.| 1 replyGot a call from Mark looking for Moose. When I called back a girl answered saying they were a company that had two collections of mine in there hands. The company was going take me to court unless I could pay something. They had my old email and old address. What scared me was they had my social security number. When I told them to send me the papers they hung up on me. I called back to have some fun. I asked them how are they going to send me paper work without my address. She told me that they hire a private investigator to find me. Then hung up. This is all a spam.

- Ali| 2 repliesI received a call today! Same as all the others, Cryptic message from Mark Wallace stating I needed to call back, I called back and another person answered from caller ID he was able to pull my "file"/"information". I was caught off guard and same as the others they had my old email and mailing address not sure how they got my current number, what's is terrifying is that they have my ssn. They stated they will take me to court the county I lived at and if I want to dispute the charge I could or I could pay to avoid and legal and court fees because I didn't pay a pay day loan years ago to their client, I asked why I'm hearing about this now so many years later he said they have tried to reach me via email and my old bank account, which they knew who I banked with! I suggest everyone follows BigA advice and CWG40! I know I will.

http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/How-Do-You-Rep ... aud-Activity%3F - BridgetMy parents-in-law received a call from this number asking for my husband or myself. My husband called back and spoke to Mark. They told him they were a collection agency collecting a fraud and that our bank account had been closed and we bounced a check. My husband told him we don't even have checks for the account and he wanted proof. They hung up on him. I asked him for the number and called back to put on file that we did not want them to call again. However, when i called they had no idea who I was. They were able to look up my husband and stated his wife was my mother-in-law. Then said we owed the debt and they would not take us off the log and will be sending a summons. Then she hung up on me.
