Got a call from this number before 9 AM. Did not leave a message. Am not insured by state farm. Too early for legit call in my opinion.

It's probably a scam.. I'm 15 and in no way involved with state farm insurance, so if they call you, don't worry about it.

State Farm would not call at 5:30AM.  I suspect spoofing.

Got an email today following up with my State Farm agent already left a message for a call back ???? no one has been in an accident should not be a claim out there?  (855)341-8184 supposedly agent claims to be named Fahad Hussain and is requesting a call reads they have been trying to get a hold of me ya right  ??? I think it"s a scam, I should hear back from my agent tomorrow will post again...

Followed up today, my agent called me back after checking there was a claim file., It is State Farm claims, the guy who got hit, filed the claim had wrong info, not me now straightened out. Can't be careful enough these days, so many scams out there, best advise call your agent and follow up before returning the call requested via email, I always say "you can't think like a thief"... this number is in fact State Farms claims department, confirmed.

Obviously spoofed.  A reputable firm will not call the East Coast at 05:00AM

Legit. State Farm claims department. Wish they would actually ID as such since I filed a claim with them and would have picked up. Once I confirmed I called them back to resolve my claim.

got an email with this number a few weeks ago stating I started a claim.  I didn't want to click any links since I suspected it was a phishing email. went directly to the website and not claim exists... they have my name and email though, I suspect an insider leak.

I work for state Farm claims and this is the number we call from/receive calls on. The standard process is to always leave a message identifying ourselves and providing the claim number. Not sure where this whOle identifying the vehicle in a voicemail came from but that's not standard. It does happen sometimes that we are given very limited information, so calls may be made on a claim with only a phone number identifying you as being involved in a loss. If you weren't involved, just explain it to the rep you speak with. We are only trying to identify if we owe you money in these situations, so we can fulfill our financial obligations. Obviously I'm biased, but in my opinion if you don't know what the accident is about, it's best to just keep calm and talk to the rep about it. We don't want to call the wrong person but it does happen sometimes. Just explain the scenario and arellow he rep to do his/her job. The goal is honestly to provide assistance and make sure the claim information is accurate.

"Jim Sloyer calling from State Farm Claims Department regarding claim number blah blah blah.  Need more information from you to in order to continue processing the claim...."
