State Farm  Phishing Scam 855-341-8184
Woman Called to say my wife (Mrs my last name) left a note on on a car saying she hit it. I asked when? In November. I ask where? In a housing complex. Asked where the complex was? She didn’t know but was calling to get more information about the situation.  A little problem with this story, my wife died months earlier.

Left  a message on phondvvyhy darn, calling about an accident claim and wants me to call back. I’ve been in no accident so i don’t know what claim they are talking about?

Seriously people ?  WAKE UP !!!  This is a total scam.  I work for State Farm, this is not how we do business 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ LOL.

This number calls and says they are with State Farm. They are not. Do not respond or give them any information.

I had a Similar Experience. I just received a letter claiming that I was in an accident with one of their insured.  I have not been in any accidents.

Got a text message  Stating  it was State Farm a claim number a d they would call later ,I am seeing this is a Phishing scam

got a text asking to call this number.  I called my agent instead.  Then they directed me to claims.  Apparently someone filed a claim on my insurance but have no idea who it was.  Nobody on my policy was in an accident.

If you worked for State Farm, are you in the claims department? If so, then you would know these calls ARE LEGIT. I own a repair business and we get these calls almost daily -- they are HELPING with insurance claims. There's absolutely no scam or fraud involved.

If you knew who called and why they called then why did you look this number up?  There obviously was no reason to do that.  Plus one has to wonder why you are replying to a post made by an unregistered poster 5 months ago?

You can't possibly know who got a real call or who got a scammer spoofing the number. So to say "these calls" are legit is misleading. Stop trying to reassure people the number can't be spoofed or have impersonators calling.

Someone called from State Farm, they did not have my name but said it was about a recent accident.  I told them the accident was last August.
