Received this call at exactly 9:00 AM ET on Oct 7. My caller ID says is: " Toll Free Call." Whoever called didn't leave a message.

Got an automated message...Got a message saying it was CVS Caremark calling on behalf of your prescription drug plan. Gave a bunch numbers with a return call authorization number. Strange thing is the person they asked for , the number they called Isn't theirs. They've called 2 times within 2 hours. I'm Blicking them.

Got a call from cvs Caremark drug prescription from this number with a list of twelve numbers as an authorization call back identification number to call back this dumb butt number. Like heck I will. Scammer all the way. I am not falling for this. Blocked IMMEADIATELY  plus, I do not have anything with CVS or Caremark.

If this truly is, "CVS Caremark", why would they block their name? They wouldn't, "blocked"!

They called Thanksgiving morning! Just dead air.

I received a call from this caller at 12/6/2016 at 10:56 am... I did not answer it as I do not get calls from 800 numbers. They left a voicemail saying that My prescription as approved and I need to call them back to have it sent to me... Scam... I don't have any prescriptions coming to me at all.  They messed up on that one. I think they just throw this out as most people have prescriptions of some sort... Hmm...

Just called them, it is CVS Caremark, they provide my scripts through medicare

You called them?  Then you know who you called and why?  So why did you look up the number afterwards?

Said they were CVS Caremark, but caller ID said unavailable. Said prescription was approved and could get it filled at any pharmacy...what??? That makes no sense

She may have liked it up to find out. Called them to verify, then returned to verify here that it is who it is.

This is legitimate - it's CVS/Caremark. In my case it was to let me know that insurance had approved a prescription.

This number is a real company and a legitimate call.  They told me they are not allowed to leave any personal information on a voice mail so that's why they don't.  I needed a prior authorization on a couple medications that I take. This number called to let me know the decision on my request.  If you don't answer they will send you something in your snail mail box within a few days.

I received four calls in one day. I had four messages with nothing recorded.

I called my Medicare Part D company and they did not call me.  They do deal with
CVS /Caremark so it may be a scam.  I don't answer numbers I don't know which is why after reading comments I called my insurance company directly.

This is a scam..block it if you can. They are NOT CVS Caremark. Why can't CVS shut this down?

Definitely CVS Caremark. They manage prescriptions for my insurance provider. (Medica) You do not need to use CVS pharmacy. Just received a call with a quick recording that stated my prescription was approved. I was prescribed a new medication by my dr that required prior approval for coverage.
