- 785-243-1234First I started getting calls about my Social Security number being stolen but checked with Social Security they know nothing at all about this. Next came the calls about "Free Pain Management" along with all sorts of offers of "Govt' Help that is also fake. Now getting calls that my Scrips is approved by Medicare. I contacted Medicare and My Pharmacy Doctor office, Social Security and the FBI for good measure. Now that part that makes me sound like an escaped mental patient or someone needing needing Urgent Mental Health Intervention. The small town I live in, in NCK KS is or was as late as the 1990's-2000's controlled by a Latin Drug Cartel Also (Unsolved Murder Capital of the World Paul Harvey said it too!) and every phone including Cellphones were recorded listened too. The Cell Network travel's over the trunk line getting to the shared tower It was installed and built by a man that works for the phone company named Dave Chestnut, along with others paid to maintain the spy systems in town and other towns in KS, NE, OK, TX, CO To protect massive drug shipments into the USA from all over the World. The amount of Murders, threats, harm just so some idiots cam move drugs from Mexico across America and not be stopped along the way is too high a price to pay. Too many have died so that the rich can get richer keep the poor poor, It would be nice if the actual FBI Law enforcement would do its job arrest those behind all this and other more serious crimes. .In 2008-2010 someone started killing off some of the "loose ends" but not the ones at the top that are truly responsible for this and the murders of thousands of people over the years if not many many more.

- HolliI keep my ringer off anymore because of spam even though I have two apps one through AT&T and the other is OK caller. I was actually asleep when I woke up I saw I had a message that was two seconds long it sounded like they said my husband first name of 20 years is a rapist. I woke up real fast and replayed it five times. It still sounded the same so I called him down and said what does this say and he said don’t now it sounds computer generated and it’s funny that that’s what you think you must really be tired. I noticed others are saying CVS Caremark, CVS Caremark is part of silver script there is a very close number for prior authorizations from Silver Script Choice not CVS Caremark but they would use that name also. I have not called her back nor will I. I truly think this is spam or the message would be longer than two seconds and get cut off. I will say it freaked me out. Don’t trust it at all

- HolliToday is 3/11/19 & My post is above. This number does belong to CVS Caremark after doing some research it is their prior authorization number it may be automated or a real person. It is also known as Silver script prescription plan. It is not spam unless someone else is using it like they always do but this is 100% I legit number.

- WEB| 3 repliesThis is LEGIT, CVS Caremark is my provider on MY Medicare Prescription Drug Plan, even though it is I never call back the number they suggest, I always call the number on My prescription drug card, I do this with credit cards, medicare, banking, Etc... Everything. Just Protecting my Backside and assets. I suggest YOU do the same.

- Tygerkat replies to WEBJust because the call was legitimate for you doesn't mean it is for everyone. Scammers frequently spoof legitimate phone numbers in an attempt to convince people their scam is real. Never trust a random caller to be who they claim to be and never give them personal information of any sort or confirm what they may have. Instead, hang up and call a known number for them, such as the one on the back of your card or on their official website.
- Puzzeled PatientReceived call similiar to others reported, the question is: There are no new prescriptions that have been issued and the only prescription needing prior approval was approved, by mail, a couple months ago. Secondly, we use ONE pharmacy, as BCBS-"Silverscript" recommends, and it IS NOT CVS. Will not call and confirm. The name used was no one in my household - as others have reported. BCBS/CVS would not be "shooting blanks" using wrong names and numbers - they have VERIFIED INFORMATION. This doesn't all up. Am going to call the Benefits Office for the major university we retired from, and they can get us the answers we need. You might do the same. If "prior authorisation" is now required for some common medication, pain meds for example, this may be legit - but these kinds of callers almost never have incorrect information - since it is updated and verified AT EACH AND EVERY DOCTOR APPOINTMENT...

- Puzzled Patient replies to WEB| 1 replyGood advice - we only call the main "Customer Service" numbers on the insurance cards. If criminals can get your new Medicare number, they strike gold. Medicare is replacing all Medicare numbers with non-Social Security numbers (since using the for identification HAS ALWAYS BEEN ILLEGAL) so Medicare/Medicaid fraudsters are getting cut off and must uncover the newly issued numbers. Beware - we have already found one doctor who is selling this information, reported him, and he is suspended pending a licence hearing next month. Guess making a doctor's wage is insufficient for his greed.
- There replies to Puzzled Patientare many medications that need prior authorization so pain meds might not be a stretch considering the "opioid epidemic". CVS Caremark is one of the major companies handling pharmacy meds for insurance companies. I don't see why you need to go to the University since you can simply call the number on the back of your insurance card. You should have also been made aware of what company is handling your prescriptions payments.
Also, SS numbers were allowed to be used as identification after outfits like the banking industry paid huge bribes to elected officials to make it happen. - ShawnaCalled me claiming to be with CVS caremark calling about me prescription drug plan. Thing is I don't get my prescriptions through them I fill my prescriptions at meijer.

- M'Lissa| 1 replyWhen I look this up I see that it's CVS Caremark calling me. They don't leave a message which irritates me. They are also the ones that cover my silverscript for Medicare prescription coverage. Usually I don't answer when I don't know who it is. When I call them back on the customer service line they're always confused on why I'm calling and don't know who is called me.

- BigA replies to M'LissaWell then there is a very good chance that someone is spoofing their number to get information or money from you. You should look up, read, and learn about "Caller ID Spoofing" since you never heard of it.

- JimboTHIS IS NOT CVS. They called and left a message so I called CVS directly at their 866 toll free number. The CVS rep is able to look at communication history and she said not only did they not try to contact me but looking at my account she saw no reason whatsoever for them to even do so. This number she said is not CVS and she said if they call do not share any personal information with them.
