- just hereThis is a legitimate call for the carrier of Medicare part D for prescription coverage. They are the main company that approves or disapproves your medications.
- Caller: CVS Caremark
- Call type: Valid
- AnnieThey called me and said that I have a prescription waiting for pick up........however I do not go through this company for any of my meds.
When calling back it says I need an authorization code...which of course I don't have.- Caller: CVS Caremark

- BlockedAutomated call identifies as CVS CareMark. First time I screened the call the message was for me to call back using a callback number but it was.rattled off so fast I could not get it. The 2nd call came through as a missed call with no message left. When I called back, the automated system asks for a callback number, which I do not have. I have SilverScript for my Rx but I know that CVS is associated with them. I found their website and sent them an email inquiry about the call to see if I could get more information. I don't know if this is a scam caller or if it is legit. But until I know, it will have to remain a mystery.

Voicemail said something about a prescription being approved. I don't use CVS, never have. I get all my info on RX from my doctors on-line patient record service. Never had one of these calls before, but it sounds fishy.
In reading through all of these messages here it's clear that there are a lot of posts, in exactly the same wording, that claim the number is legitimate. And a lot of posts who have checked with their plans to find out that their Caremark accounts sent no such thing to them.
It seems that a possible legitimate CAremark # has been spoofed to phish people.
So this number and these voicemails can't be trusted.- Caller: PHishers

- PO'dThey're STILL at it. Called at 7:00AM, "CVS CAREMARK", right. I don't even HAVE prescriptions. They are NOT telemarketers, they're CRIMINALS. Blocked and am now reporting it to all the government agencies.
- Caller: "CVS CAREMARK"

- PO'dThey have now called me 10 times since 7:00AM this morning. It's now 9:15AM. NOT legitimate! This is harassment..

- tjmI received a phone call from this phone number, claiming that it was CVS Caremark. This seems to be a scam that has been going around for quite a while. The trick is if you do business with CVS or any other pharmacy, they will never call you using a Robo collar for anything other than to leave you a message about your prescriptions being ready for pick up. Any other Robo caller, claiming to be with a pharmacy could be scamming you. Don’t give out any personal information. This seems to be a scam that has been going around for quite a while. At this point, I would not even put it past scammers who could be now using A.I. to run their scams. Be aware…

- Janet NX2 calls from this # exactly 1hr. apart (so far). I do not answer unknown numbers - no msg. left. Based on what I just read above, CVS/Caremark WOULD have been my pharmacy provider IF I were not in a long term care facility and not able to go to a CVS pharmacy now & I do not have any active Rx's that CVS would be involved in at all at think time. I will continue to not answer & if calls become too disturbing I will attempt to block them. Addendum - a 3rd call just came in, separated by 1hr from the other 2.

- Janet N.This is a follow up to the earlier post re: repeated unsolicited calls from this #. They started promptly at 9:03AM and continued X1/hr, on the hr, for 5hrs, until they just stopped. (I had posted the 1st msg before realizing the length of time this would continue.) I did not answer any of them. I have read that if you answer that lets the scammer know they have reached a working phone number. I did not attempt to block, though I would have if they had not stopped when they did. There is no reason CVS/CAREMARK would be calling me - I believe it must have been a scammer for it to have gone on for so long like that.
