I was dubted into believing I was talking to a Microsoft technician. While using my PC a loud alarm sounded and a message appeared I needed to call 1-855-442-2935 immediately as I had a computer problem.  I called and was connected to a "microsoft technician".  This person eventually talked me into allowing him to have remote access to my PC, wanting me to purchase a maintenance pkg to clean up my PC of all its problems.  I started to enter my information but before entering my credit card I had second thoughts and made an excuse not to continue.  At this point the polite & helpful technician turned mean and threatening.  I hung up.  Shortly after I received a call from 1-844-733-5424.  I called back and once again I was told I was talking to "microsoft".  When I mentioned I had been speaking with a person already he transferred me to my earlier contact.  At this point I hung up.

We have to remember that Yoda NEVER calls you, so don't be fooled.  If I get one of those "let us help you because your company cannot fix the problem we have detected."  I tell them I know they are lying and hang up.

I don't understand.  I have had Yoda care for about 3 years and had no problems.  If I get a call from a company that says they are from Yoda care, or somebody who says there is something wrong with my computer and only they can fix it, I call Yoda at 888 287-1902 and they take care of the problem.  I have also called 800 442-2935 and no problems.  Could it possibly be a company just claiming to be Yoda, because Yoda told they never call.

I've had an account with Yoda care for 3 years and they have been fine.  Their name was given to me by HP when they couldn't help me with the problem I was having.

I just got a notification on my computer from them saying that my computer had gotten infected with a terrible virus. I called this number because it was listed on the message. I just gave them my Microsoft account information. I think my computer is definitely screwed now. I was talking to this guy who sounded like he was from India. I should've never called them

I received notification on my computer by a pop up message representing itself as Microsoft warning and informing me that my computer would be blocked due to detected spyware and viruses.  There was a voice-over to this message which Informed me I must call 877 360-0485 within the next five minutes.  I spoke briefly with a person. who was heavily accented East Indian.  I could not understand nor hear him well and hung up.  Moments later I received a call from 855 442-2935 and they left an incomprehensible 5 second message.  Glad I was not scammed.

My computer gave me an automated voice message stating to be Microsoft Support. This "automated Bot message" stated that my computer was infected with a virus or malice Malware that would affect my bank information, pictures and all sensitive security information. It told me to contact this phone number "877-353-9120". I have been aware of automated BOT messages before but wanted to see who would answer this number. I called this number and a woman with an East Indian accent answered but I could not recognize what she said when she answered the phone. I did not answer her but remained silent on my end of the call. She hung up on me. Not 10 seconds later my phone rang with a different number that I had originally called. So I called 877-353-9120 but the returning phone call number was 855-442-2935. This company pretends to scare you into giving them access to your computer so they can gain access to copy all your security information. Once you have done this YOU will get more trouble then you can imagine!!!! Always take your computer to a reputable dealer. NEVER allow access to your computer that you can not see.

    TIP
I had a warning message on my computer that I couldn't get off.  It told me to call this number imminently or my hard drive was going to crash.  So when I called them, I could tell they didn't know what they were talking about. He was a foreigner and could barely speak English.  They wanted me to give them my credit card number to talk to a more experienced tech.  I would do that so then he became rude and said if I didn't my computer would crash and it would be my responsibility to have it fixed.  Then I told him I didn't know who they were and that I was calling Apple and hung up.  I then received a call back from them. This time it was a woman pretending to be a tech and she too was rude, she said she had received a call from this number and that she was a tech, how could she help me?  I explained that I had already spoken to her people I didn't know who they were and that I was calling Apple.  She then started saying things about what was going to happen to my computer and so on. I couldn't get in touch with Apple so I prayed about it and after a very rough night I woke up this morning remember Apple has an Anti-Malware on the computer so I ran that and that took their crap off my computer!  Thank you, Lord!

Computer seemed to be infected and said to call 800 number to Micrsoft services, no response. 5 minutes later, received call from 855-442-2935, person sounded Indian.  I requested who they were with, they said you called us and would not give information of who they were with.  We have had a rash of our credit cards being used online.  Pretty sure our computer has been infected.
