i got a similar call from the idiots pretenting to be from IRS i reported them to donot call registry

Phone message on my voice mail said it was Officer Ryan Smith and that I or my lawyer must call back as they were on IRS and I was victim of identity fraud.

So tired of these calls, now it's Ryan Smith from the IRS, yeah Ryan you can kiss my ass, scumbag!!! frauds.

Rec'd a voice automated message stating that Office Ryan Smith from the IRS was calling about tax fraud that was found in my tax records and that I can not avoid this message and call them back

Got the same call as the rest of you. Officer Ryan Smith from the IRS.
Also got a  call from 718 area code with the same computerized voice. That time the message goes on to say that if either myself or my attorney do not call them back, they can only "wish you well as this situation unfolds on you."   I seriously doubt that the IRS would ever say that. But I had some foreigners try to scam me a few years back and they would always say that.

IRS scammers,  and not very good ones.  If you ask even the most basic questions in regards to "the claim" they have against you, they get nervous and hang up.

A friend of mine got exactly the same call.

Same here. Is there a way to tell the police to look for those scammers?

Call him back and informed that I was on to his fraud. He  keeps hanging the phone up. older people who aren't aware of this fraud are be terrified. Someone should stop this punk!

Most likely you will be billed for calling back. I got the same call.

Got call from IRS agent Ryan Smith regarding some error in tax forms. Wanted my or my lawyer to call him. Another scam. Sick of this.

It was a automated recording saying a possible tax fraud on my account and I need to return there call and if I don't have my lawyer give them a call.

This is a scam saying they are from the IRS.

"This is the IRS and there is a fraud in your tax. I need to speak with you and your lawyer"
-btch bye.

Keep getting call from this number saying it was from the IRS they call just about every week and its plucking my nerves. I wish it will stop because I know it a scam I have received any mail from the IRS.
