The caller ID was listed as unknown, but the voice message was from Bill with National Notification Department.  I was to call 855-545-7296 for my $50,000 from a contest over the last 18 months.  He specifically said, we are contacting you again.  Never heard from these people before or signed up for some "contest".  Scam.  

I got the same message today saying that I had won $50,000 in a contest that I had enteredn yhe last 18 months. NO I DID NOT RETURN THE CALL!!!!!

The number that left a message was a 312 number, however I was told to call 855-545-7296. They told me I had entered a contest for $50k sometime in the past 18 months, and Bill at the National Notification Department had good news for me. Ppphhht. What a load of bollocks. Who is this and how did they get me number? You will be found and shut down. Cheers.

My voicemail was from Bill. Apparently I won $50k in some mysterious sweepstakes. I'm also on the do-not-call registry. Obviously I will not be calling them.

Call on answering machine from this number that I had won $50,000 on entry turned in within last 18 months.   Call back and congratulations.    See lots others were called with same malarkey.   Geeze!!!!

Got a call I had "won" $50,000.  Told them - great - since they have my "entry" in front of them, just mail me a cashier's check.  I'm now camping out by the mailbox....NOT!

Does anyone want to start a volunteer service where we call these places as a group and tie up their phone lines?
We will pretend to be upper management testing them or some sort of made up investigation agency.
I recommend you call their number and when they answer say "This is agent Tom/Jill Summers from the National Investigations Department, I need to speak the manager in charge." If they pass you off ask for the name of the parent company and for the name and number of a person that can represent the company. If you get that far, post that number on 4chan and let 4chan know what is happening... they will take care of the rest.

I think that do-not-call registry  is a JOKE I have sign up more than once still getting the calls.

Got the same call as everyone here, called back and put on hold so hungup, hope they don't call back or I will give them some lip.

Received message on phone from 312-239-6579  Identified himself as Bill from National Notification and that I had entered a contest over a yr ago and I was winning $50,000.  Left phone number 855-545-7296 to call back and claim the money.
I did not return the call and I did not enter any contest.  A scam

Received a  call from Bill saying I had won money and requested a call back. This is a scam as I did not enter any sweepstakes.

Yes, this just called my a few hours ago...saying exactly the same. He has a nice voice, but not a meaningful job.

They called my cell number. "Bill" very enthusiastically left a message - "again" so he said, despite this being the first call I have received. He said he had good news for me about some contest I entered within the last 18 months. Made it see like I won the $50,000 grand prize and that I needed to cal 855-545-7296.  Rubbish.

Got 3 calls today!  One each from 312-333-0447, 855-545-7296, and 872-221-0470.  All 3 I answered, they said nothing and eventually just hung up.  Both my wife and I have received the "we have some exiting news regarding the $25,0000 or $50,000 contest you registered for" message from these numbers before.  Stop wasting my time!

Got the call on 3/17/14 saying it was "Bill" callind about a contest I had entered in the past 18 months to win $50,000 and to call back as soon as possible as he had good news. 1-800-545-7296. Caller ID showed the number with a 312 area code. Problem is, they called my cell phone number and I NEVER would use that number for a contest! Didn't call them back but wrote down the number to google it and I found this, thanks for all the comments, this has to be a scam!

Same as previously noted. Received call from same # and message on my Cell phone which is also on the DNC List; however, that serves to be of No Use! Just another heads up of SCAM!  DID NOT and DO NOT plan to return call of Scammers!!

I got the same call from 312-377-0166, identified as "Bill".  You can tell it's prerecorded, he called several times regarding the 50K and a contest I entered in the past 18 months.  He said he "has good news" for me .... I have good news for him too, one less call to make.
