Got a call from Peter saying I entered a $50,000 home improvement sweepstakes about a year or year and a half ago. Wants me to call him back at 1-855-545-7319 to verify my information. Will not be doing that.

Got this call. Supposedly entered a contact 2 years ago to win $50,000 for homeowners. I don't own a home and never had. Name was Pierre. Number left: 18555457319, called from: 17084413680. Total crap. Now blocked.

I had a message left on my landline (11/13/2014) from Peter at the 'National Notification Dept.' stating that I had entered a contest within the past 12 - 18 months (which I didn't recall) and had won $50,000.  He told me 'congratulations' and to call back at 855-545-7319.  Being the skeptic that I am, I decided to google National Notification Dept. and was proven correct in my skepticism.  

This is so sad. We received a call from Pierre (caller id Bill Bentley 312-488-1851) stating we had won the contest we entered over the past year to year and a half. There were red flags I should've paid attention to (different name on caller id/no last name)but i started to believe because I had entered a contest with DIY Network for $50,000. It would've been a dream come true to be able to renovate our home. Unfortunately after looking on here I see its got to be fake. Really sad that people play with others like this. We work hard for what we got and it's sad that someone tries to scam us for what little we have.

I gotten several msg on my cell from 312-625-5551 IL number saying this is Peter from the national notification dept. and to call back 855-545-7319 about a contest entered 18 months ago. Possibly winner of $50k of home oweners sweapstake. Did not back after seeing this website.

Rec'd call yesterday from "Peter" at Nat'l Notificaton Dept. informing me of same as all above -- $50K etc. Toll-free callback # was 1-855-545-7319.  Thanks to Google and this website for enabling me NOT to fall for this scam. BTW, I only rec'd the call on my landline -- using it to filter all robo- and other junk calls.  Protects my cell # -- well worth the extra $$ each month.

Msg left on our voicemail at 8 pm Friday, December 5, 2014.  The call came from 855-545-7319 saying within the last 18 months we entered a $50,000 home makeover contest, the contest was over and to call back to verify some information.  Our motto is "if it sounds too good to be true...it is."  Never, never, never give anyone your personal information.  Needless to say, we didn't call back.  The only one we called was our local police department to report the scam.  We live in a gated community with lots of seniors and they need to know about this.

Same thing...they had good news. I did not call back.

I received two calls. I did not return call.

Got the same message, but this year it's Pierre instead of Bill. LOL!

Got a message today from 1-855-545-7319 from the "National Notification Dept." saying I had won a 50k "homeowner cash giveaway" that I'd entered 12-18 months ago. Looks like this scam has re-surfaced with a slightly different phone number.

We have been getting calls from this source periodically for the last 4 months...always the same messages, that we have won 50K in some contest we entered "some months ago."  Says different names each time.  This last call was supposedly left by "Brice."  This time he said we won 25K; did he think that would make him more credible???  Last month, the number we were to call was 855-545-7319.  This month, it was 844-604-0006.  And the name of the company was changed to "Gift Recovery Department".  Talk about persistence...

They called but I didn't win any prize. They said I owed a payday loan (I have never taken out a payday loan) and told me all my personal info that they knew which was EVERYTHING! DOB, SSN, current address, past addresses, past bank acct info, past employer....now I have to go file a complaint at the sheriff's Dept after work 😠
