- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Sherriem| 1 reply7/25/18 12:57 PDT Didn't answer call because don't trust anything with "unknown" ID. Reading through previous reports, figure it probably was a scam since no message was left. Have been having problems with FedEx, but, as several others mentioned they ask you to respond to a single question survey at the end of any phone contact.

- Kate M.No one said anything. Call came immediately after a robo call, on which I hung up.
- Caller: No identifying information
- SandyDidn't deliver my package yet. 7 days late. So no I'm not participating.
- Caller: Fedex survey
- Call type: Survey
- j replies to drgoodieOf course it's a scam, FedEx does not make separate calls, they ONLY do surveys at the end of your call. Whoever is calling you doesn't know you called FedEx yesterday, they are phishing and nothing but a coincidence that you called FedEx the previous day. They probably just got you to say yes to something!
- RoyPhishing scam. And for the folk who think it flowed from their life experience, it's like someone calling up and saying they are taking a survey about your recent eating experience. Lots of people just ate in the last day or two so they are fooled into thinking it legitimately comes from that. It's not that they're stupid, usually, but that a professional whatever beats an amateur whatever most every time. If I had a nickel for each dollar (or fiver) my friends give strippers and tell me they know when the girl is just working and when she kind of likes them...
Ever wonder why you get calls that just hand on for 5-10 seconds, then hang up? A variety of reasons including they don't have enough employees or phones to move the call to, but a big one is they are just mining with the call. All they want is to categorize the line's owner. Did a business greet them? Was it a residence? Was it a child? And old person? Did someone answer with something Christian on their tongues? Etc. Then you get targeted calls. Like here. They know you're a business, so there's a good chance you use FedEx or UPS. FedEx has a lot more damaged shipments than UPS so there's a better chance you called them about something than that you called UPS. So a FedEx survey. Your (supposed) anger is used to get you past your "bulls**t detector" and talking. What they get out of it I don't know, but they are the pros and they do. If nothing other than simple, unattached "yes" and "no" recordings, they value it and presumably think they can make money off it.
By the way: FedEx ONLY does surveys right after calls, from the connection you have that moment, not even a callback. Someone already mentioned that, but it is so, and worth amplifying.
Mine had no information whatever about any experience I might have had with FedEx. And I'd had none. So... phishing for something all the way. Scammer. Fraudster... Movies make the victims of fraud all look like scum who are somehow worse than their Robin Hood victimizers who must be nice people 'cause they're sexy and the victims are pigs... WE are the victims folks. Do you figure the pig scum trying to take your, or your company's money is sexy and you're a greedy, fat, ugly, white man? Or are you decent? Human? Nice yourself?
If they don't supply information no one could have outside FedEx, in this case, they are scum swine looking to steal from you. By giving them that opportunity, you give them a living and they keep after me too. I'd like a better life, so just stop. And stop coming to places like this and defending the scum when all that happened was they fooled you. Feel sheepish instead of sheep-like and stop helping them.
You DO know they actually call us "sheeple" – right? Just sheeple: easily led and easily put on the spit for dinner. And you defend them with no reason when you think it through.
Sigh...
I wonder what these scum do for their kids on Career Days at school? "Hi, I'm Mrs. Thompson and I steal from your mommy and daddy. That's why I have all the meth I ever want and Cindy here always has the best clothes and all the great video games. If any of you are smart like me, which I doubt 'cause your mommy and daddy are so stupid and genes, you know... you should try my career." Or... something closer to lying? Not coming? Bet it's the last 'cause you know, it'd be dicey if one kid's parent was a cop...- Caller: FedEx scammer

- Sherriem1/11/19 10:12 PST No ID and no message. Was out at time of call. Reading back realize it was probably FedEx, with whom I have had problems in the last few days, but, oh well, no message, no response.
- Caller: reads "unknown"
- MarkI deal with FedEx on a daily basis, often I have to call to schedule pickups and to verify status on deliveries, every time I call there is a 1 question survey at the end of the call, saying this I called my contact at FedEx asking about this random call and she confirmed that this is not them making the calls. They will not call at random to ask if I or anyone called FedEx. be aware that more than often these people want to record you saying "YES". to be sure please contact your FedEx agent or their "800" as FedEx does not have a 855 one.
