Legally they can call anytime between 8am and 10pm

"Rules all telemarketers must follow when making a call or sending a fax
Among other things, you must:

identify who you are and, upon request, provide a fax or telephone number where the person being called can speak to someone about the telemarketing call
display the telephone number that you’re calling from or that the consumer can call to reach you, and
only call or send faxes between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. on weekdays and between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on weekends."

I called rbc they said that number is not there number so its a scam if u still not sure call rbc ur self and tell them that number

Received multiple calls. No messages were left. Some people online say it's RBC, but I don't owe them money. In fact I paid off my credit card in full. I'm gonna call them to ask if it's a legit number , because the last call I received was at 10:30pm!!! I don't think that's legal!

Even if this is a legitimate RBC number it doesn't mean the caller is actually from RBC. Scammers spoof legitimate numbers all the time.

They called saying it was RBC Collections, started with a recording to call back a number. Sounded like the robo voice lady RBC actually uses.  That there was an issue with my account.  They wanted to know personal info like
Debit card number and said I had a Business Visa over the limit which was 30K lol.  Never had a business Visa or Visa let alone with a limit of 30K.  They left quite a few messages and the people sounded legitimate.  I called bank first to see if there was any issue which I knew there was not and told them I was getting calls and they said it is not their number.  Kept calling repeatedly. I blocked number and they tried with another one 1-855-272-1206 so I blocked that number.  On the phone you can see how many times they tried even if the number is blocked it just doesn't ring.   After that they tried probably another 30 times.  Every day or 2.  Eventually it stopped.  Sounded like a very large and busy call centre.

Just spoke with RBC and they do not have 8 5 5 numbers that it is a scam

Someone who's previously had your number may owe them money.

Clearly NOT an RBC representative! These scams are everywhere, claiming I owe them credit card debt - a card which I discountinued 6 months ago. You can tell by their heavy Indian accent that they were reading off a script. I googled the number as they were speaking and called him out on it. He stuttered, told him I'm not stupid, cursed him and hung up.

SCAM. Called RBC and confirmed this is not their number for collections or anything else. These creeps have tried calling with "unlisted" in days past but now they're trying with RBC as the ID. CREEPS.

Further if you try to call the number back, you get put on a convincing sounding hold with music and a pleasant announcer lady saying " due to high call volumes...."

Receive 2 to 3 calls per day from this number.  When answered, no responce.  I do not deal with the Royal Bank.   No idea who this is.

Getting calls from this and a couple more 855 numbers. I don't answer. The voicemail says this call is for Susan (last name), and then does the beep... Beewo.... Beep of a line gone dead

They call everyday both house and cell number. But they always call outside of the RBC regular business hours 8-4 Mon-Fri. They call always after 4pm or on Saturdays definitely not RBC.

Call me every couple days and annoying and hangs up

They asked me to verify my name and number then date of birth. I almost gave my year of birth and stopped when I got suspicious. will they try to get into my account?

They said they were RBC collection
