He hesitated and said Greg Jordan. I asked for name of company. Dead silence. Then got Pro Management Corporation. Asked where and was told California. Asked where in Ca. Dead silence. Finally told San Diego. Needless to say they won't be getting any money from me

- Really?Got a call from this number today so I called back. The lady stated her name (really fast so that I could not get it), then proceeded to tell me that "they" are seeking me for fraud. I said who is they and who are you. She proceeded then to tell me something about mixed payday loan, and that I had a loan with them in 2010. I said I've never done business with them. She then asked if I had a police report stating that someone was using my SSN number.
When I asked what was mixed payday loans contact info, she said she did not have that. So I said, then why are you calling me. Of course it was to collect money or tell me to appear in court. I said, so you are collecting money for a client for which you have no contact info? Yeah right. I then said send the paper work and don't call me again. - There idiots| 1 replySome nasty female called my phone started running her mouth would not answer my questions. Told me I need to pay 800 dollars or face criminal charges. I asked her for proof she said she was the proof. I told her to get a life and hung up. She then kept calling my phone at least 6 times I answered again asked her who she was trying to collect for. She claimed cash net. I told her i will call them myself she got real nasty then and I hung up. I called cash net and they have no record of me and said they handle there own collections and do not hire out hmmm.

- Kick replies to There idiotsCan you remember if this dizzy, lying skank, bottom feeding witch from hell, called from a 800- number or was it unknown number. These prostitutes usually have fake 800 numbers, most likely hiding from their johns. Maybe if enough people call and tie up their phone line it will not be able to bother others.

- Cynthia| 1 replyI received a call at work today. They left a voicemail she stated that her name was Paulette Johnson and she stated that a formal complaint was file against me in my county which she mispronounced. She was calling to verify my address and place of employment. The next step is filing the necessary paperwork. I still have the legal right to contact the plainiff and I can exercise that right. Failure to comply will result in forfeit legal right to dispute matter outside of court and a civil complaint will be file against me. I have been notified and she hung up. I am so sick of these people always trying to scam me out of money. I do not owe anyone. They have called my job before in the past harassing me and my co workers. I wish it was something that can be done to make them stop.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans
Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010 FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691
The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers. - DebbieJust received a call from this number. They didn't leave a message, but from reading the other posts here, I am scared! I know it's a scam, but it makes me uneasy how these people can get my personal (on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY) phone number and try to get money from me. What a bunch of low-lifes! I'm blocking this number!! Thanks, everyone, for your comments--they helped!

- California ManThey called me today. It was a msg. So I called them back. They said it's about an alleged payday loan I didn't pay off. I said that's funny b/c I filed for bankruptcy 15 months ago, and have made ALL of my payments each month.
I told them that they need to stop calling me, and if they called me again, legal action would take place, and that they would be investigated. The guy told me choice words, and I told him some choice words, and asked him how does he feel if he and his fellow co-workers are going to feel when they are busted, and they're arrested and their mug shots are scene all over the United States. He hung up on me.- Call type: Debt collector
