Received a voice mail message that was IDENTICAL in every way to ALL of the other calls in this thread, down to the calling me "guys", asking about our "expansion plans" and wishes for a "Happy New Year!". Especially frightening since someone on here said that "Tim" has attempted to obtain someone's SSN and other identitying info on at least one occasion; I pray he isn't successful with a more gullible person than those of us on here who know how and why to check up on him! Oh, and this WAS on my mobile number!

Why is this crap legal?  Someone is making money off this stuff; who, where and how.

If it is an unsolicited call to offer (market) a loan, and if one is in the DNC list, it is NOT legal!
Why do you think it is?

Criminals ignore laws.  That should not be news to you.

Just received the same call/message as listed above, word for word.  Rang once, went straight to voicemail.

I just reported Tim and his number to the FBI local office for telemarketing scams. They are investigating this number already.

Tim called me twice. First time it rang once. Then he immediately called back. Again, only rang once. Thirty seconds later, there's a voicemail. Perhaps he's getting sloppy?

Tim is a busy man trying to keep up with all the paperwork he sent out to "you guys" for 250k business loans. Don't remember getting paper work but I better jump on this.............NOT! Can you say block number?

250K loan.  Mysteriously was just in my voicemail.  Must be using the back door through the service provider to leave a message.  I use to do this when I didn't want to talk to someone, but wanted to leave them a message.

Same exact call as everyone else has had.  On my mobile, straight to VM.  It's called "sly dialing".

Just got the same call minutes ago. Tim sounds very smooth. Phone did ring but I didn't answer. Such a scam. BEWARE!

I thought I was special to Tim. Apparently not. Got the Tim $250k call today as well.

It's another scam.  Do not answer call.

Same guy, same message as the others.  Pre-approved for a $250K loan.  Called my cell phone on 1/11/17.

I just got the same call from "Tim", asking me if I expect some growth in my business this year and saying I should have received a letter for my $250k line of credit.  It sounded like he was on the phone live, but it probably was a recording.  I called it back and the recording first asked if (a) I made over $10k a month (I pressed 1 for yes), and then (b) was asked to stay on the line. A young man named Anthony answered and said he worked for Capital Alliance in California.  I told him I was confused why I received a call for a line of credit and he said that they want me to sign up for the line of credit.  Anthony was polite, but I told him I was going to block the number (he did offer to transfer me to the department that will take me off the call list, which I declined - it usually just gets me another hard sell).  So that's the story.

I got a call from Tim "again"  following up on mail they sent regarding the 250k business line of credit we were approved for. Have to call back to go over rates and terms. Don't think so...

Man he sounds like a nice guy, but believe the system has a better plan for him, if only he could sell some of this money...
