- jeepgirl_70 replies to DougI to received a recorded call from a Paul Crew with Goldberg, Sloan and Associates. When I returned the call and spoke with the operator letting him know they have the wrong number for the person they are looking for he seemed nice and assured me he would remove my number ASAP. We will see how it goes since I can not find any address or information at all about this company.
- SlbHad a message yesterday from Marshall. I immediately took notice of his accent because I live in Rhode Island and he had a southern accent. He told me I would be served between 11-5 at my job. What Job would that be? Any way they cannot claim legal action will be taken if they have no intention on doing so. If no one arrive to my place of employment between 11-5 then they have just given me just cause to file a complaint with the AG office. What annoys me the most is somehow he got my home number which is private an unlisted. No one calls me on the number except my mother. I use it to call out to order takeout and work from home. I am also getting calls on my cell from a Zeneith Financial Services trying to collect a pay day loan. I asked them to validate the debt. They of course said they could through email and I told them I wanted it via mail. I just dare them to commit fraud through the mail and see how that works out for them. They no better so after a few months I expect them to move on and pass this "debt" on to someone else. Something tells me these two calls are related.

- Charles| 7 repliesThe people on this site simply do not want to pay their bills. This company is legitimate and is not a scam in any way. They filed a judgement against my son and he is now being garnished 30% of his wages. You can be dumb like the people on this site and get garnished or you can contact them before the court date...
- Caller: Goldberg , Sloan and Associates
- Badge714 replies to CharlesIf your son did not pay his bills (real ones), was sued (a real law suit) and went to court (a real one) and the Judge (a real Judge) said "Pay up son". Then what did you expect? Your son HAD his day in Court. However Lotus Blossom, millions of Americans are being called by foreign criminals trying to extort money on fake loans. So until these fools send proof of debt would you please take your whine to 'Judge Judy'? Notice how these 'Pay your bills' shills NEVER mention the 'foreign crooks"? Haven't seen one say it on 800 notes yet.
- Alfalfa replies to Charles| 4 repliesThe maximum is 25%....
Title III protects employees by limiting the amount of earnings that may be garnished in any workweek or pay period to the lesser of 25 percent of disposable earnings or the amount by which disposable earnings are greater than 30 times the federal minimum hourly wage prescribed by Section 6(a) (1) of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. This limit applies regardless of how many garnishment orders an employer receives.

Nice try. - Charles replies to Alfalfa| 3 repliesYou people are giving bad advice to people...this is an american company and garnishment is varied per the laws of each state. I believe people are being scammed in our country, but that doesnt mean every one who contacts you is a scam. Be smart people, own up to your responsibilities.
- Gunnar replies to CharlesDo you really think you're up to this? You're about to be exposed for the fraud you are. "Advice"? Here's some for you. Run! Run fast! Don't look back & don't even think of coming back.
If you do, well there ya' go! You're going to find out how fast a frauds brains can be pulled out of his anus. Don't make me say "warned you!" Go away. NOW!

Gunnar - heywood jablomy replies to CharlesDude, we ARE being smart by asking questions about this "american company."
- Tamianth replies to CharlesSo the FDCPA laws are bad advice? Since when? Since you do not feel you have to abide by them? Tell ya what shilly, there's a nice jail cell waiting for you and your boiler room extortion scammin buddies! You should be smart and turn yourself in and own up to your fraud and extortion..
- Frank Costello replies to CharlesCharles:
If they got a judgement against your son, can you provide the court and case # so we can pull it up since it would be a public record. That way we can get Goldberg, Sloan, and Associates' real address. I'm sure many people would be more than happy to file claims against this "company" for violations of the FDCPA. My guess is that there is no case # because that would expose who they really are, and based on their collection practices they would be subject to multiple suits. But I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt "Charles" if you can provide the court and case #. Also, if you get contacted by this sort of "company" make sure to document and record everything they do and report them to the FTC 855-411-2372 and your state's AG. My guess is they think they are safe from being located but we are in America. Anyone can be located and when they are, they better have a toothbrush with them. Also make sure to contact the FBI's fraud investigative unit if they contacted you to report them (202) 324-3000.
Contrary to what you are saying "Charles" the majority of people do pay their legitimate bills, sometimes people fall behind because of life's circumstances and that's no reason to harass anyone to pay up or scare them into paying up. The tactics this "company" uses are not legitimate and they deserve what's coming to them. - Sir BedevereAlways remember:
• Debt collectors are required by law to provide proof of your debt IN WRITING
• Those who refuse to provide proof in writing are doing so because *they* have something to fear from the long arm of the law! - K. Vincent| 3 repliesThe people who take out pay day loans dont want to pay them back thats the whole point. This company has every right to call you. If you dont want to pay your bills, don't. I got a call so i called the number back and paid my bill u people are the scum of the earth. They are a fraud, they are a scam, im a whiny [***] who doesnt want to pay my bills!!!! You all know u took out the loans ur just human scumbags....PAY YOUR BILLS [***] AND STOP HIDING ON THE INTERNET!!!!
- Gunnar replies to K. VincentIt never ceases to amaze me when I see an obvious SHILL, such as yourself, come on here and spout BS! Are you so deeply ignorant that you fail to perceive how illiterate you are? It's really no wonder why you can't find a real job!
If your little two-bit outfit had title to a legitimate debt, you'd have no problem proving it by mailing out those federally mandated notices of validation. As it's quite obvious that you don't, there's only one conclusion to be made. You're a bottom-feeding fraudulent and/or bogus debt collection shop! Why would even a mentally challenged individual, such as yourself, even remotely consider paying any money to FRAUDS?
You're trying to play way out of your league Fraud-boy! We gut scammers like you faster than fish. Go Away! You're boring us!

- Alfalfa replies to KayleeYou are the one who does not know what you are talking about. State and Federal governments are the only entities who can intercept a tax return.
Thanks for playing. - DaphneyThis guy by the name of Marshall Davis is contacting me threatening me that he has to serve me and I should make myself available. I am not even sure for what he is serving me. He left me this # 18558071500 I have been calling back but no answer. I bet you those people have nothing better to do thinking that money grows on tree. When you able to provide me with legit documents of why you suing me then we'll take it from there.
