A call stating that there is a civil matter with case #.  Told to call back 855-776-7025.  No one answers.  No ability to leave a message.  Anyone else receiving calls like this?

I received the same call. Asked if I would be home btwn 8-4pm. Gave a case# and said its a civil suit from the city I live in. Funny part is I work closely the city I live in and there is no suit against me. Why would it be? Not sure what this company is trying to attempt, but I will be ready for them for SURE!!

Same message. Said it was a suit with my bank. I called my bank and they know nothing of it. The name of the person that keeps calling me is "Kimberly Washington". This is obviously a scam.

My father in law received one on my behalf today.

Just got one.  Said there was a civil suit and need to call the 855 number, but the number that called me was a local number to my city.  The name of the person was Joshua Edwards

Got a call from these people saying there was a civil lawsuit against my brother. I offered them his cell number but they refused and told me to just give him the message and left a case number, SF16-22175. Anyone receive the same case number?

I got a call from 469-250-0754 telling me to call the 855-776-7025 with a case # for a civil suit as well, for my son who died 3 years ago. Believe me this is something that I don't want to have happen to me again.

Sorry, submitted without this info. She said they were calling for Alliance Law firm. and when I told her he was no longer living she said I would have to call Alliance to straighten it out. Called, person was supposedly on the other line, it said to leave message and I couldn't it was full.

I have no idea of where you are and while I am an attorney, I cannot give you legal advice. I can say that FCC.gov , FTC.gov and your state's bar (check the state government website) will all have some interest in this. At root, no attorney is going to cold--call you. Yes, we do have the right to contact witnesses and members of class actions - but what you describe can't be either of those - and calling another number is usually a way to obtain funds by fraud. The FCC is the best starting point.

Someone mentioned Alliance Legal.  (for information only) ---There is a company by that name in Florida that handles foreclosures and a group called Alliance Law Group that handles  corporate information.   Neither appear to handle collections.  There is, however, an Alliance Law Firm in EGYPT (but I doubt they are calling you).

Said I was being sued for a pay day loan I took out on the East Coast and deposited in my bank account. I live on the west coast NEVER even visited the east coast and then they said it was when I worked for some banking firm I had never worked for - Been self employed my whole life. SCAM SCAM SCAM they were using case # SF1637805 got a call first from 469-250-0754 told me I had civil paper to receive. If i wanted more information to call alliance at 855-776-7025.

Received a call from a Josh Edwards with a "summons" company, wanting to give me a chance to clear things up before they served me with papers after 5 pm eastern standard time today. Told me to call 855-776-7025. Did so spoke to Diane at Alliance Legal Group who transferred me to Kimberly Washington litigator on my case #SF16-3928. Said it was from a payday loan from sometime in 2012 and I requested further information that she could not give me at this time. Said she would give me a call back with that information. Funny same group info, same type of info given to people, but never any concrete info. What I do know for a fact is that summons company's or process servers do not call ahead and give you a heads up EVER. Kinda of fishy to say the least.

My mother-in-law received a call from  1-855-776-7025 giving case no. 16-35765 stated that I was involved in a legal litigation. So my wife called and some girl answered and right away she said if she was calling on my behalf. ALARMING... No legal company gives info without proper verification 1st. Than she was placed on a long hold and some girl gave her half ass info. Long story short it's a clear SCAM. if anyone has legal litigation they get notified via sheriff dept.  If anyone has more info please do share and get these scammers reported.

Same story as most others-they called my grandfather's phone, looking for me. They really scared him with their scammy message, I had to show him this page to get him to believe that it isn't something to worry about-just the dishonest, non-working scam artists trying to steal my hard earned money. These people are not legit. Block and delete.

I received the same call. Lady called me said I owed a payday loan back in 2012 in December and can't tell me more info unless I pay first. Total scam hopefully these people will be caught from alliance law firm group.

I received  one today stating that they had a civil suit  against  me. And they need to set up a time to bring me the papers. This is a bogus call.

They keep calling the house, and they try to threaten people to take your bank info or whatever personal info they have on you. Be careful.
