I called the number back from skype, the message said they are doing surveys. Didnt say who they were though..no company name.
On my cell that they called several times, but ive never answered, there is a setting to reject the call.
So I never will answer them, likely the numbers are computer generated.

Forgot to add, the last call came on a sunday eve. around 7

He called after 9:30pm. The caller said they were doing a survey in my 'locality'.  I asked if he knew what the locality was; he just hung up.   I called back, it went directly to a 'full' voicemail account.   I don't know if they are running a scam or trying to be legit.  I do know he left me with the impression that he neither knew what my locality was, nor how to deal with anyone who might question his script.

Survey company calls constantly. Every week several times. They are asking for information on cable, cell phones info. I asked them not to call. They called again and I told them I already answered their questions. Persistent idiots !!!

Initially, when they called and did not leave a message, and I called back, I just got an outgoing message saying that the mail box was full.

A week later, the company called again. They were doing a survey regarding the Potomac Electric Power Company (PEPCO).

She call me on Sunday so it is weekend. Please take her number from my mailing list

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards.  Some states have different laws in regards to the calls,  which can differ from the federal.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

This same number keeps trying me at least three times per week since last November - I always check Caller ID and never answer as we are also being victimized by very poor English speaking (sounds like Indians or Pakistani who never went to school) who want to "fix our broken computer system".  We have two telephone landlines in our home and only one is connected to a computer, so when they call my wife's line with no computer, you know it is a scam.

This number call at 9:06am, and was looking for my parents.  Told him that "They are not here right now"
He replied, "You can't speak proper English?"

I don't know what to say!!  I just simply said, "I said they are not here right now"  Then he said, "So, they don't want to talk to me?"

OMG!!!!  WTH??!!

After receiving multiple calls from them, asking politely for our number to be removed from their list, hanging up on them, and, finally, asking impolitely to stop calling, I gave the phone directly to my 2 year-old to speak with them.  They stayed on the line a full 3 minutes saying, "hello, hello..." when my 2 year-old told said, "hello, hello...you're so funny..." and other things even I couldn't translate!  

Keep getting calls from this number.
People, they know when to reach you by checking your phone's status:
if your phone is active, they will call you numerous times.
It seems quite scary!!!

Said they were doing a survey about local grocery stores. I hung up at that point.

this number called me, Saturday, February 7 2015 at around 3:30pm. Lady said she is conducting a survey about surrounding issues in my area and asked if i could help her out, I said no and she hung up right away.

LOL...

Wish they would knock it off........I WILL NOT be answering any time soon. Calling at least twice a day.......very annoying

i got call from this number at 18.59 pm Edmonton Canada time.

they called and mentioned they were doing a survey for shaw. i said ok. they started asking questions about whether or not i have phone/internet services. i said "I AM A SHAW CUSTOMER. you should already have that information on file". i said have a nice day and hung up.

I got calls from this number for the past freaken week. I picked up yesterday and lone and behold they wanted to ask me for a survey. I said not and hung up. They started calling me again today.... what can i do?

Received a call from this number yesterday asking me to complete a survey about education in Alberta. I said I had no time to answer and then she asked if there was a male in the house. I told her no and she hung up. Received a call from this number again today and answered said hello and waited a few seconds and no one was on the other end.
