Just got the same call from a blocked # says he's a process server wanting to make sure I'll be home tomorrow when he comes with marshalls to serve me court documents --- When I said I didn't know about it he said to call 855-793-3214 - said the company name is MS4 -- he doesn't know what is in the envelop that he has to serve me and if I call them maybe they can work something out so I don't have to go to court!  Do ppl still fall for this stuff!!

I just got the same call said she had a PO Box for me and need my address I haven't had a PO Box in 6 years what a scam then she said she will just serve at my work well that's funny I don't work!!!!

I got same call from #(855)793-3214 threatening to serve me at work take me to court and that process server will be at my place unemployment to serve me.

I have received several calls from this number and then this morning got a call from an unknown number telling me they had tried to come to my house to have me sign documents and that they would be trying to locate me at my last known job. He had the last four of my social and also told me he would be looking for my car, which he knew the make year and model of. When i called the number he gave me the man just answered hello, and when i told him I had a message to call he started yelling at me and telling me he didn't call me and don't accuse him of things he didn't do. I hung up on him.

I got a call from them yesterday on my cell phone. They said that they tries to serve me at my place of employment however it was list as right POE wrong SSN. I havent work in a year and a half so where di they serve me? lol

If your real company act like one don not use threats to to collect a debt some states it is ellegal to do that but some don"t know that its all about making thenself look good or they would out a job but ony looser take these jobs

I am getting threatening calls and they say,they will come to my work and pick up my vehicle and they give the license plate number and the make of my vehicle. I am totally disabled and do not work and they are calling saying they are the texas sate legal services and his name is james caan. he gives a reference number of 204-43. i own my car. this is disturbing who are these people?

We have gotten numerous calls from this number at my place of business, sometimes asking about a person who is not in our employ, and sometimes just threatening anyone who may have been "lucky" enough to answer the phone.  When I returned the phone call to inquire as to why they had called a business about an obviously personal matter, I was first hung up on and then verbally abused and threatened with reporting my company to the attorney general because our phone conversation (such as it was) was being "federally recorded"!  My supervisor was then insulted and berated and threatened.  We have reported M&S to the BBB.

I am just wondering after how many calls would they actually stop?

There was a time I would have died. I think eventually it just became about something else and so here we are.

Received message that my attorney or this person they are looking for should call them about some documents.  Just received another call earlier different telephone number.  Also received a call last Friday again a different number.

They called my work also left a "threatening" message and this phone # 855-793-3214 , caller ID showed a different # 877-762-4559. If it were real the person or company that is trying to "serve" you would have your home address, PO Box Mailing Address and or work address - they are just trying to scare you into making payments that of course will never go to pay off what ever it is you may owe.

Lol I've been harassed and threatened by these idiots for months now. I paid $75 dollars and that's it! I just had a NB and am on disability. Hello, have they seen the economy. I owe a check cashing place and they said that they pressed charges against me for check fraud and two other misdemeanors for a bail bond of $10,000. I said I couldn't pay yet so they extended it and my "court hearing" and they told the people that where out to serve me to hold off lol. So I owe $400 and they only want $250. Suck it going to the place I owe not these guys! The guy "mike" said he worked for legal services in el dorado county but he's so dumb his number is 716 area code. And it wasn't even in ell dorado county it was in sac county.716

They keep calling looking for a DEAD relative.  The calls just don't stop.  I finally called them back and they said, "Sorry for your loss. We'll let our attorneys know."  What a bunch of CRAP!

Thank you to everyone who put up their stories I almost got scammed put of 1760.00 but instead I did some research myself  save yourself the stress it's a SCAM amy,Kathy chow , Andrew Jackson etc.. All fake M&S recovery is fake fake fake [***] address goes to a ups p.o box I told them to never contact me again or legal action will be taken and it's in their best interest to leave me alone BBB has an alert in their company they have yet to prove they are legit yet respond to people's complaints on the BBB website  why can't they provide documentation to the BBB ? I hope they all fry when their finally caught preying on my little bit of money I make the nerve

Got a call from them on my cell -- they've been calling for months -- never asks for anyone by name, just leaves a recorded message, with veiled threats -- to call back -- MS & Associates- one is a woman who says her name is "Janet Jacobs" Director of Mediation -- and the other is a guy who's recording uses two or three different names "Steven Bomar" is one -- you know it's the same mesage since you hear the same exact noise in the background of a room full of scamming callers.  I think what they do is call your number, and if it goes to voicemail, they put on the recording... they've used a wide variety of call back numbers to call from including this one, as well as 716-328-0132,  855-528-8454,  866-332-6632... there is a pretty damning complaint on the Buffalo NY Better Business Bureau site describing what they do and how they do it.  Since they never use your name, and they skate right up to breaking the law (they have written scripts they read from to make sure they don't break the law), and don't actually make any threats, other than to say something like "this may prevent you from using your banking or checking services" -- the key word being 'may'.... and they say we're going to come to your place of work (they don't know where you work), or your home address (and they may not know that), so you think they will do it, but they're just trying to scare you in to calling them back -- then when you ask for the person who left you the message (one of the fake names), they are never there, but that's the tip off to the professional arm twisters that they've got a scared victim on the phone calling back about the scam message they left -- then they try and scare you into paying them something and they act like your friend, even though they are scavengers going after old, out of date debts.....
I think they are an operation that buys very, very old debts for pennies on the dollar,(may pay $20 for a $3000 debt) that is basically 5 or more years old, and may not even be legitimate -- then they scare people into paying them something less than the original debt -- so if you pay them $1000 for something they got for $20, then they make $1980......
So, until they call me and ask for me by my name, I'm just going to assume that they are just like the Nigerian email scammers and the people from India who say they're from Microsoft and they've detected my computer has a virus, and I need to give them remote access to my computer to do so. (yeah, right....), that I'll continue to ignore them, and to report them, and to continue to record their calls and messages in case I ever do need to take them to court.
One lucky consumer in Texas just sued one  of these scum feeding collection agencies and won over 5 million $$ in May 2015 --- hope it puts them out of business and their owners in bankruptcy -- google it for more info.  Hope this helps.   Ned

I keep getting a harassing call saying I owe money for a credit card that is in my name. They told me to call before 5pm a Gloria Johnson about it. They stated my social security was on it and if I don't pay they are going to take me to court and sue me. Then stated if I didn't get the money together or pau on it that my husband would be gone after for the money. I called the phone number and it says please hold with now nothing but silence. I'm scared because I never applied for this card, they threaten me saying I would pay more then what is being asked and had me in tears. What should I do? I'm so scared, depressed and stressed over this. They call all hours of the day and its always a different person. Gloria Johnson hung up on me when they called the first time. I started crying and they giggled about it. Help someone please....

M&S Recovery called me as well. Don't  understand why they would call my mother in laws number to talk to me.  But the number was 2534442776.
