These are low life scammers...even if you actually owe a loan....there are legal ways to collect and this is not one of them....I tried blocking the nmbr and then they called right back....they might be using caller id software..where there computers automatically record all incoming calls and call the nmbrs back.

I put a outgoing voice mail message on my home and cell phone for these fools.  It states "You've reached [my phone number].  Please leave a message...  If you are from ACS, Creditors or any other illegal collection agency or business, please leave your message and I will kindly forward it to the FTC, [my state's] attorney general office, the secret service and the local police as I have done with your previous messages."   They called about 10 minutes after I left that message and DID NOT leave ANY message.   I did file the complaint and I hope they find these people.

got a call from these idiots on 3/29. Automated voice recording saying if i didnt call them back they were going to continue their legal action against me. Last time they called me they said they were going to my former residence to serve papers on me and put a personal lien on my car. I went to me old apartment building and  waited for them to show up, they never did. OOH I am so scared!

I am also getting these calls...they have also called and left messages on my husbands cell phone and also called my in-laws saying they need to speak to me regarding me being served with court documents. So I called them back- they advised this was for a payday loan from 2008, I asked for some type of validation of the debt and Kim said we have nothing to send, she continued to advise I am being sued for check fraud..etc..so then I advised her- delete my in-laws number also paydays loans are illegal in my state of NY- so you can't sue me through NY courts and I will file a complaint with NYS attnorney generals office, well she hung on me!  I did file the complaint- but the phone calls they are making to my family are embarrassing and threatening! If anyone decides to sue them -please let me know!

These scammers have been calling me nonstop. Like nonstop. They've called my Mom & Dad, and my sister. And who knows who else. Last year they were calling and I got scared, so I gave them my CC number. Then I read this was a scam and so I canceled my credit card. They got real mad at me, said they were going to show up an my work or house. Not wanting them to show up at my work, I told them to meet me at my house. Waited 3 hours, but they never came. So, I stopped answering. They stopped calling for several months, but now they are at it again from a new number. If you tell them you're recording the call they get real mad and hang up. They said I had an unpaid debt from 2005, but I don't. I was only 17 in 2005! They are totally just banking on airheads like me giving them their info because they're scared! I'm so glad my parents looked into this for me! My new plan is to buy an airhorn and blow it in the receiver every time a human is on the other line. It's about to get very entertaining!

    Tired of it in TN
I was victim of bank fraud back in December.  Unauthorized ACH transactions to checking and online shopping with my debit card # from some [***] in Valdosta, GA....or at least that was where they traced the ISP.  Closed all accounts, fraud alerts with credit bureaus, etc etc.  Since then, I have been bombarded from calls by so called 'debt collectors' and 'process servers.'  Started with some guys from India who would call at 6 AM and tell me that if I didn't give them a prepaid Visa for $810 from Walgreens, then 'God be with you as the situation unfolds on you.'  Then I started getting a call from this 855 number with folks claiming to be process servers for NCS.  They used the names Michelle Jones, Jennifer Adams, Curtis Williams, James Brown, and Danny Brown.  Google calls from process servers with these names and you will find TONS of complaints and scam reports.  They called my cell and my former employer every 15 minutes and left threatening voicemails when they got no answer.  Always the same spiel.. I was being arrested in 2 hours, they would serve me at my place of employment, home, the home of friends or family, or any place they could find me as I had failed to appear in court on bad check charges.  I have never been served with court papers of any kind in my life and have certainly never passed a bad check.  The last call from a real person was 2 weeks ago with process erver Jennifer Adams telling me that this was my FINAL WARNING and she hated to do it, but I had pushed her to this point and I was now being arrested and should get my affairs in order as I would be jailed before nightfall.  She called from this #.  I called back and AGAIN asked for a letter of debt validation and a copy of the bad check.  I got someone in the 'legal dept' who sounded like she said her name was Kanishia.  She said it was for an old payday loan never repaid, but could not tell me the company name and stated that she had no documents to send me.  When I asked for a physical address of her supposed company, she said 'we ain't got one.'  But she did tell me that the company name was ACS.  Last time I spoke with someone it was NCS.  At any rate, I told her to have me served, she apparently had all my info.  Then she began asking me to CONFIRM INFO....dob, last 4 of my SS#, my DL#...needless to say, I refused and told her if their was a court summons in the state of TN, then they should have all that.  She began to scream at me and I hung up.  The # called back repeatedly and I let it go to voicemail.  This week, I have started receiving robocalls from this same #.  They never state the name of their company, but always have the same message "an important legal is in our office for (my name) and we need a statement from you today.  Failure to return our call TOOODAY will result in a statement being provided for you.'  They leve this # for a return call.  And they call OVER AND OVER.  They are calling my cell, my former employer (they have my employer from 10 yrs ago listed...I still know people there and they have emailed to let me know), my aunt with MS who is almost 80, my neighbors across the street and next door, you name it.  After speaking to a local attorney friend, I filed a complaint with state AG office, the BBB, FTC, and FBI Internet crimes unit.  I doubt any of it will do any good, as it is obviously a scam, but at least it is documented.  I just received another call while typing this and this time, the robocall gave the name for a different female with the same spiel they have given for me.

I'm fed up with these scammers as well.  I've placed a fraud alert with every agency I could think.  I'm actually meeting with an attorney tomorrow - I have an entire list of names, numbers, voice recordings, etc. that I'm handing over.  Anything illegal will be turned over for prosecution by that areas Attorney General - I'm fighting back because I'm fighting mad!

ok these calls are very disturbing, but they are scams.  the equipment they use is very sophisticated so they cannot be traced.  And even if they were found what benefit would it create.  I have found that you phone provider will block a specified number if you ask them.  But my biggest advice is simply do not answer or respond.  These calls are set up on a computer dial system, if no one answers it just forwards to the next number.  Once you answer they believe they have you, and will intimidate you to pay them some money.  The reality is that somewhere along the line you completed some on line request and they really do have your information.  From my experience your best defense is just ignore.

i got the same call just a while ago from a recording and then pushed O was put in touch with a live person.  She asked me if this is the number that i am calling from to which I responded you called me so it must be the right number.  She again asked me for the number and my comment was  look lady you can not be that stupid you called the number I responded by pushing "O" as requested and you picked up so in all logic either you have the right number or you are a total idiot.  Her next question was who am I talking to and my response was who are you trying to get hold of.  She then gave me my wife,s name and asked me if could spell my last name.  My comment to that was yes I could spell it I have been using it all my life.  At that time she hung up.

If you're on an android phone there are apps that will intercept and block these calls if enough people report it as spam.

I use a free app that blocked this number the first time it came up.

they call my cell every single day - day and NIGHT. 7 days a week. i no longer listen to their messages and there is no such thing as debtors jail or we'd all be in there for medical bills or something. they cant arrest you for a debt. its not fraud either like they keep saying. i was even told my social security number would actually be arrested? REALLY NOW-LOL!  I was told by a collection stopper attorney there's nothing to be afraid of these people are scammers and thats how they make their money. they cant arrest us, we wont be served anything because thats a violation on the scammers part. I dont take or listen to these to these calls anymore. Not going to upset myself anymore with these people. cant believe this is the job they have chosen. Lazy mfers
