I was informed that they were scammers. I called back, and she kept asking for my phone number. I told her that she should have no problem looking it up by name. I gave her a fake name and she stated that she did have my account and that for verification that she needed the last 4 of the ssn. I made up something else. She got frustrated and asked for my phone number to 'remove from their call list'.

I got a call today from this number.  I didn't answer but they left me a message saying it was urgent that I call them back...like they were trying to collect a debt or something.

Just got a voicemail from these jerks. They had stopped for awhile but have started back up. I put a block on my phone.

I just got a call from someone from SAR associates legal division stating that they needed to speak to me, I have never heard of this company it is a scam do not call them back. I turned the into the states attorney General office

Apparently I got a call from these people although, the odd part is it never registered on my phone as a call, I just had the voice mail show up.  This must be some sort of scam.  So far as I know, real debt collectors will mention your name.  These guys can't be real.

Also keeping getting this same message for two months now. I dont ever answer nor do i call them back.glad im not the only one who says scam because my voicemail doesnt say who i am either. THIS IS A SCAM SCAM PEOPLE SCAM BE WARE A SCAM PHONE CALL

received the same voice mail as all the previous individuals, go through my call log however don't see no missed called. just received a voice mail, so how can you leave just a voice mail without calling the person.

Two ways they could have left a voicemail without appearing in your call log:

1) Another call was active at the time this number called so it went straight to voicemail;

2) They know the voicemail access number for your carrier and called it then specified your number as the mailbox to leave a message on.

They call from different numbers. I've blocked them like 4 times already

I got the same message as everyone else. No name on my voicemail so they have no idea who they left a message for but I don't have any debt.

Them again from a different number this time.  Never dealt with the company they claim to be collecting for when they sent a letter in December.  A letter that by the way came with no payment coupon and no return envelope, just instructions to call them with payment information.  That's not suspicious at all (insert rolling eyes).  As that company was shut down by the Federal Government, they can't be collecting on anything.

I have the Mr. Number App; so I have a lot of calls getting blocked now.  This was the first time SAR used this particular number.  And really, if it is that important, they should know who they are calling.

I recd the letter too, and have been receiving phone calls ... I emailed them with a request for documentation of said debt, informed them of the statue of limitations on collection of any non collateral debt had passed, and that payday loans where illegal in the state... so far it has been over 30 days since the request and today I recd a call and a hangup... still siding on that this is a total scam

Yep same thing called saying who they are but not who they want scammers,been scammed before by f*ing Indians not happening again

The exact same thing happened to me.

They left 5 messages on my phone in one day. They say they are from SARS and Associates. About the same thing everyone is saying.  they say it is time sensitive and they could turn me into the IRS.  I can't find the company anywhere on the web except for scams

SAR IS the Scammer!

I have received several calls from SAR and Associates since the middle of October. But the most recent call was from someone stating they are with Civil Procedures for SAR And Associates (same message as it sounds like everyone else got). I think I got this call because the last time a regular csr called trying to collect on this bogus loan, I told her that I had reported them to my state Attorney General

they are scammers, DO NOT call them, hang up if you answer any calls from them.  I got the same call today from them.  Federal government is investigating this.  Call today was with foreign accent, most likely in Nigeria or India.  About 6 months ago our government tracked them in India, busted it up.

I received several calls threatening court/lawyer fees, etc. for a bill I know nothing about. I asked them for information regarding same they told me they could not provide that information.  I have filed a complaint with Attorney General office of PA; Consumer Fraud Division and Federal Trade Commission.  I received a return letter from Attorney General office stating not to send any money; return calls; or answer any future calls this is a SCAM company.
