The address on SW 24th St is a residence, but the second address on 79th st, suite 140 seems to be a loan company of some sort, possibly between these three businesses they are getting people’s information?

Florida office of Financial Regulation has no listing for them as required by Florida law to be a debt collector.
It seems they send the same letter and amount to everyone.  Other complaints:

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Got this message.

"Hello this is Joshua Tillman. I'm calling from the civil procedures division of SAR & Associates. It is imperative that you call us back in order to stop any further action from taking place against you. Our number here is 855-802-3239 if I am unavailable you can speak to any other representative and they will be able to help you. We are open from 9am to 5pm EST. Thank you."

What I find suspicious:
1. They never called me by name
2. They never said what the call was actually in reference to (collect a debt, pending litigation, etc...)
3. What further action -- there has been no current action
3. I have received NOTHING from these people by mail and have never heard of them until this call
4. They have an F rating from the BBB
5. Their website have a .org extension -- for profit businesses that are legit do not use that extension
6. I looked up their mailing address and Plantation Business Center comes up -- the suite number they claim is theirs is currently for rent

These people are the absolute worst. I don't know how I got on a list but every couple of months this happens. Suddenly I am getting 10-20 phone calls a day from difference "agencies" claiming I owe someone money. They never say who for but if I pay them right now they can stop the person who is coming to arrest me -- give me a break.

I also just got the same call,  glad to know they're scammers. My favorite part was that they said they're open from 9am-5pm est. The voice-mail I just received is time stamped 515 est.

I have received calls from SAR daily for over week now.  Each time they leave a message they leave a different call back number...who are these people.  They are truly annoying.

Same message as everyone else. No call came through only voicemail.
