It would be a lot more productive to file an FDCPA and TCPA claim against them and make them pay for calling you.

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notion of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Got a message from 855-813-9739 (my phone only rang half a ring) message said he is a debt collector trying to collect a debt.... Never said his name or the person he was trying to reach however he said if I have the wrong number please give me a call back to let me know or you can chat on line with me at Americollectpay.com

Got a message about debt collection.  Blocking future calls from this number.

I got a couple calls over the last couple days. No VM. But since I changed my cellphone account with TMobile, i have begun to get these calls. I changed my account over last weekend and by Monday i was getting these calls. I wonder if they sell our info?

Caller ID has Toll Free Call.... "Elizabeth from Americollect" left a message saying she was a debt collector and needed us to all Americollect at 877-563-5739(which is a different number than the one which was on my caller ID).  I have no debt.  They did not reference what the debt was for but did state if we thought it was not ours to call them to let them know.  Makes it sound like they are honest...NOT!

They call me 3 times a week! Same message… I never pick up when they call from different states😳😮
