This criminal enterprise is owned by an Indian, and everything about it was posted on page 10.  Anyone getting a call from these thieves should immediately consult a consumer attorney and sue them into oblivion.

Received a call from this company.  No voicemail left so I did a reverse lookup.  IV had this number 12 years and no outstanding debts, plus a private number.

Just today, October 6, 2015, I received a call from Credence Resource, said they were calling from India.  They called my phone number asking for someone by another name.    We have had this phone number for many years.  They called from 855-876-5343.   I was very upset, since my identity was stolen a few  years back and someone even opened accounts using my s.s. number and information;   and recently,  in 2014, someone was trying to file income tax using my name and social security number.  I plan to report this to experian.  Please report these calls to any of the credit bureaus.  These people need to be stopped and I plan to do my part!!!!

I received a call this evening from the same company but from 855-876-5343.  Said they were calling from India for someone by another name I do not know.  When I asked to speak to the supervisor, she said her name was Ellen Burbank.  I assured her that we had had this number for many years and that we did not know the person she called for.
I also told her that I would be reporting this call to the police and to Experian.  They have ways of finding these people.  I wish everyone on here the best and please report this to the police and anyone who will listen to you.  They will inform you on   how to contact the right sources.

They call me daily from India.  My debt is legit but the callers cannot understand what you are saying & I can't understand them.  Giving them a # takes a long time.  They always get it wrong.  Repeat, repeat.  When I ask to speak to supervisor the phone line messes up.  I can hear them but they can't hear me.  Poorly trained & incompetent customer service reps.  Incompetent technology as well.

I was trying to get some rest before my shift tonight because I work 8:00pm-1:00am. And all of a sudden I got some phone call from some guy with a funny accent and  asking me for information. I don't him wrong number. And to me these collection agencies don't know what they are doing and they are deliberately harassing people and it's not cool. They need to pull their heads out and grow a pair!!!!

The federal Do-Not-Call registry exists to help enforce the Telemarketing Sales Rule. Please note the operative term ''marketing''. A debt collector is not a sales person and is therefore not covered. The few remaining state lists share this limitation. Here are the DNCR service terms you were supposed to review at registration time:

I take it when Credence violates your rights your plan is to run back to the same low level phone jockey at your mobile carrier to verify that "this company [is] legit" and "a real debt collection agency". Personally I place blame where it belongs, and sue the "real legitimate" agencies which take illegal shortcuts to get paid.

You can plod on with asking others who are clearly unqualified to do your thinking for you, or you can compare the agency's behavior to what the FDCPA provides for boundaries.
