Keep receiving this call too, computerized . It's becoming annoying now. I called CRA and my record is clear.

100% scam. Do not call back. CRA does NOT use automated messages to contact people owing money.

Do not call back!  This is a fraudulent call.  If they are not making money as a result of the scam they are making it on the return calls!

Same thing as the others are saying, just got the threatening phone call, tax invasion, fraud, get your attorney to call me etc.
CRA never corresponds in this manner. They always contact you by mail. It is a SCAM

Scam, don't fall for it. CRA will send you a written notice or assessment. If it were tax evasion, then they would send you a court subpoena.

Exactly - reported to the RCMP - feel free to make your own complaint.

Same thing.  Saying we owed money because of re-assessment from last 5 years. They Sound convincing .   They said they were sending someone to my house to collect, no cheques, visa or debit.  I am so glad I called CRA and checked their phone number on google before falling for this scam.

This is fraudulent.  Not really the Canada Revenue Agency.  Do NOT Send money.  Fake.

Same # called and same threats , I had to phone or get my lawyer to call !! This morning at 7:30 a.m. got a call from 289-831-9640 , basically the same crap!!! Why can't the phone companies, the police ,the governments ; protect us better against this VILE CRAP?!!? Can't the phone companies check-out people getting "toll-free" numbers a little more?!!? Like enforcing a "waiting period" before and during a check-out of these so-called human beings !!!!!!!
