6:30am Saturday morning received threatening message on answering machine.....Rudely awakened and ticked off , I called the number they left as a call back 855-881-8144....They answered the call....said they were CRA , spoke to a man with very thick accent.... He told me his name was Officer Vancouver from the CRA....(really buddy?  LOL ?) After I started to question this fellow a little more....our connection was strangely cut off ! I will phone this number 500 times today. If these folks wanna play a little game......GAME ON!

Phoned back a second time and got a woman with thick Indian accent....again she claimed to be from CRA.....but sadly this call was disconnected too.

Called back a third time..... No answer after 30 rings. They must have call display and know it's me again. Like I said, I will call these a%#holes 500 times today.....GAME ON !!!

Fourth call.......jackpot!! Got them on the phone....liens against property......just letting the guy talking. It's hilarious !

These people need to be arrested ! This is beyond unbelievable ! He wants me to get a cell phone to purchase an electronic federal tax payment system voucher.....play on buddy

Seriously , they want me to go and purchase $3500 worth of iTunes cards from drugstore and verify the 16 digit code with them for payments towards my tax fraud.... Or I will be arrested .....Also made me promise to keep this private as it is a violation of federal law to discuss it with anyone. Told them I was on the way to drugstore to purchase the cards....Can't wait to hear back from them.....told me not to disconnect the line while I went to purchase the iTunes card, but battery died on house phone....Sure hope they call me back. This is fun to waste their time and get their hopes up.....so fun.  Oh no.....just a thought...it's a toll free # or am I being charged horrendous long distance charges to somewhere in India or wherever the scammers are operating out of. Ugggggh....will wait and see if they call me back.....I was fairly convincing about believing them and wanting to pay. Ball is in your court.....CRA.   Pffffffffft

The recording said they were calling about tax fraud and tax evasion. Have your lawyer contact them and if they weren't called back the recipient of the call would incur all the costs. DO NOT call back. Big scam.

Just called these buggers back.  What a bunch immigrant [***], I asked where they were calling from and he started to stumble.

I called their bluff and he hung up on me right away.

Just don't answer the bloody call.

i just revived a call with an auto message to call back thanks for the site i was pretty sure this was a fake since they will sen you registered mail and not a phone call

Total SCAM. If there is an issue with your tax you would be contacted in writing from the tax division. I delete calls like this and totally ignore them.

Received call today saying i owe money to canada revenue and to contact this number asap. Of coarse i knew this was a scam. Cra does not solicit over the phone. They will contact you by e-mail you provided them or by snail mail.

Hello - I beleive having received the exact same call.  Did they tell you that if you don't call them back, you will be the only responsible person for handling the fraud or something like that ?

They want your informations and your money.  This is some of the worse company ever.  They say that you will go to court etc......

These scoundrels called saying they are going to freez my acccount and confiscate my cars and want to settle outside by paying money..they should be arrested...stupid f........ers...get lost.They have a thick accent...
