Called our office last night and again this morning, but they were blocked. Caller ID listed the number twice. Kinda funny that Convergent Resources also called this morning, just minutes prior.

In all my days on this planet, I have NOT even heard of a creditor who was mean enough to threaten MURDER against any debtor, let alone, making SERIOUS on such threats. Not ONE such case...YET! But, as chaotic as things are getting these days (yes, "perilous times" ARE here, like the Good Book foretold!)...it's ONLY A MATTER OF TIME, BEFORE we start hearing about such things in the news, in the years ahead...oh, but we shall see, but we SHALL SEE! Que sera, sera...

They are not supose to call anybody before 9:00am. Are they in a different time zone?

Just called two times in 4 minutes. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.

We get calls several times a day from this number.  We answer the ring and there is no one there.  There is never any message left.  What gives?

I'm getting a call from this number almost every day - looks lie a robocall or trying to sell something. I don't answer.

Calls morning, noon & night.  When I pick up there is no response!

They call 3 times a day, asking for some person. I say no one here by that name. Please stop calling they don't. They are calling from India.

No idea why, but this exact number calls every single day like clockwork, for a few weeks now. Despite being on a state and Fed "do not call" list, despite an unlisted number, despite ZERO debt to justify a debt collector's time (though it's all auto-dial so it seems).  Super-annoying. I will be filing a complaint to the (what-a-joke) "do not call" authorities (probably to join everyone else's complaints in the circular file), and also complaints to the FTC and the attorney generals involved.

The phone rings every morning.  There is nobody there.  It's alway between 8:15 and 8:45.  I don't know if they want anything as no one is there.  Please get the machine or whatever it is to stop calling.

800notes does not have the authority or power to stop these calls. The next time they call, demand a legitimate, physical mailing address in which to send a cease communication letter VIA certified mail with return receipt requested. If they refuse, inform them your attorney will get this information for you and will see them in court.

Called our office yet again, even though they're blocked and get the disconnected number recording. And once again, Convergent Resources called about 7 minutes later.

This number called my land line four times in two days and left no message on the answering machine.

Looks like they've changed their tactics to get around blocked calls -- still can't navigate the IVR, though. Caller ID lists the number as 18558918849, and the name as "Out of Area".

They call every single day about non-existent debt, or just to annoy/harass...

*IMPORTANT* - I began a complaint/legal process to cease and desist and discovered that this sleazy company has just been found in violation of massive law-breaking and statutes - for their harassment by phone and lawsuit. They were ordered as of 3 September these slugs were ordered by Richard Cordray, director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, to pay massive fines and immediately respond within 60 days by responding/complying so as to NOT act on dubious hunches or info, nor use unscrupulous threats or lawsuits to intimidate.

This would be a splendid time to complain vigorously if you (like me) are non-stop harassed by this poor excuse for a company. Complain to the CFPB if you can show that Midland and its parent company are ignoring the enforcement order and law (as usual). In my case, since the order came down, my calls have doubled, I suppose they're working hard to hook as many victims as possible before the deadline.
