Another "reading is fundamental" failure.   I clearly stated "when calling a toll free number".  Since they are paying for the call they are entitled to know who called them.

Received the same message via voicemail, as well as "Apple alerts" via email sent to both myself and my husband.  I found no 855 number in Apple support.  I believe it is a scam.

Is this a scam

phishing scam telling me that my Apple account was hacked. I don't have an Apple account or any Apple devices.

Same text as reported earlier about not using Apple devices until you called them.  They should burn in hell for trying to scam people.  Shame, shame.  Be alert!!!!

Same message asking me to call this number from a burner 800 number that is not available if you try to call it back ... just to add to this, they called my home land line to which none of the apple IDs in my home are attached after my house was broken into and robbed of 3 iPhones.

As others have said they want me to call this number, not to use my device for any banking until I do...I hate Robo calls is this a scam

Called my home phone from 877-204-4137 about not using my apple devices and left the call back number 855-929-0176. Total scam because I do not own any apple devices.

As with others, the call came from anther toll free number (800-780-0150), leaving the message for me to call 855-929-0176. Same exact wording as earlier complaints ("Our server has detected some suspicious hacking activities on your Apple account . Please do not use your Apple devices until you speak with an Apple support representative please refrain using any financial activity on your devices in order to speak with an Apple support representative right now please press one or else call us back on toll-free number 1-855-929-0176 repeat it's 1-855-929-0176 thank you…”).  Thanks everyone for reporting — hope it saves some poor soul from falling for this scam!

I got the same call asking me to call them back. I called Nd reported it to Apple. They said they were aware of the scam.
