It is 12:05 AM at night I'm tired of these calls my kids and grandkids all have different times to get off from working at night i put my number on no call list and i am getting more now than before.

Wondering why you posted here.  Usually people post here if they have been scammed, or an attempt to scam them has been made.  But you say this number is just fine.  So.   Why'd you post here?

Got a call from this number and I never answer a call unless I know the person and anyone can leave a message
and I can call them back if I want to.  They tried to leave a message but I couldn't understand a thing they said.
Most of our calls are from scammers and we seldom have to answer the phone but it is a terrible nuisance.

Right now our area (deep south Texas is experiencing extremely heavy flooding and rain.  Did not answer the call even after almost 30 rings.  As I was looking up the number, another call came in from the same number.  I picked it up and listened.  It was a recorded message from our city warning us regarding the flash floods.

Called 10:30 pm Sunday night. Rang twice, then stopped. No message.

They called at 1:41 a.m.  There was no one on the line. My cell is on the do not call list. A lot of good this does

You're right! The Do Not Call list does a lot of good! It tells legitimate telemarketers not to call you. However, scammers simply ignore it. And since it's not a call blocker, it can't keep them from calling.

There IS an international CAPS LOCK day

There is also an international don't reply to 7 year old posts day as well.  It should be everyday, because when people reply to posts that old thinking that the original poster will see them, well it make the replying poster look foolish.

if this was a code red alert,you would think they would say something.....and NOPE ….they didn't,I live in a small town and  ours come from our own area not an 855 area code

Legit call from my County on my landline from COMMUNITY ALERT. No voicemail which is silly because I got a call simultaneously on my cell from the same number with a voicemail detailing road closures due to construction. I also go a text from my town at the same time saying construction  projects. Expect delays. But no details of when or where this construction was taking place.
It’s a good idea that needs a lot of fine tuning to be useful. Otherwise it’s wasted taxpayer’s money.

This is a legit call.  It's your local municipality robocall about some topic, ranging from emergency or weather related issues or just community outreach messages to prevent people from calling 911 for exercises or tests

If that were the case, no one would need to look the number up because they would already know who called.
Of course, scammers could easily be spoofing this number.

I am in Florida and I got a call from this number.

Got a call from this number this morning,  and they actually did leave a message,  it was in regards about getting our flu shots and where we could get them via a drive up service....Caller ID read ECN COMMUNITY..
