I just got the same call from Niagara Portfolio I couldn't find anything on them either. Called from 253-275-3734 and left a callback number of 855-977-1266. When will these stupid scammers learn!!!!

I got a call from this company today, but it took me forever to figure out who they are.  They called from an 855-number, which brought up absolutely nothing in a Google search, so I had a hard time finding out who they are.  I finally called their number back, and someone answered and said "how can I help you" - no company name, no personal name, nothing.  I asked who I was calling, and THEN she told me who the company was.  Totally fishy to me - why wouldn't you want to identify your company from the get-go if you're a legitimate company?  Once she told me it was Niagara Portfolio Recovery, I hung up and looked up their company online.  They have a very bare-bones website with no info for the consumer - only for companies that want to use their services. If they are a legitimate collection agency, they should have a recording on their line that gives the standard FDCPA spiel, or the person answering should give it. She didn't. I've blocked their number, but I'm sure they'll show up again, with a different number, since that's what these people seem to do.

No idea why they're calling me - I have no past due debts - I pay my bills on time every month.  

PNC Courier is supposed to show up with "legal documents" within the next 48 hours.

I have received two calls from a Ms. Pope asking me to call Niagara Portfolio Recovery back immediately at 855-977-2166.  If they don't hear back their client (no idea who their client is) will be having them file court proceedings against me and I will be served at my home or work. I called the number back at 8:00 a.m. EST and I got a voicemail.  Last I checked if you’re being sued you don't get a warning phone call, you get a summons in the mail.

got a call from this number , can't really understand name of company, only give first name of person they are looking for, claim my number is there main number  rude woman talking as I am trying to find out what this is about  makes a smart [***] comment you don't speak to so and so but you want to know what this is about  then says I must tell person to call within 24 hours if they want to stay out of county court.  also received call from213 375 0428 saying they are courier service delivering legal documents in next 24 hours  to change time and date of service or find out more call 855 977 2166.

These people are located in NY State yet they constantly call people from all over the country saying they are ready to serve papers.   Total clap-trap.  Papers served from a New York state entity are meaningless if you don't live in that state.  Or do business in that state. In any event, no legitimate process server tells you in advance you are going to be served.

Calling for my son. Threatening deposition warrant within 24 to 48 hours. No name. private caller. Left a number and called I called it back and it is niagara solutions .  Need to know who to contact to stop these calls.

These same people are calling me and when I asked to have proof that I got a loan online then they screamed at me that I didn't have the right to have that info. She also stated that when it goes to court the recorded phone call would prove I refused to pay my debt. I said you never told me this was a recorded call, and by law you have to tell someone it's being recorded. She got mad and started pushing buttons to keep me quite. I just said I'll be contacting the authorities and she sai was would do the same.

I've recieved two calls with automated voicemails telling me I must call 855-977-2166 immediately because of legal documents. The first called themselves PNC Courier (I have the voicemail saved) and called from San Francisco 415-325-0256.  The second called themselves Niagara Documentation or Portfolio from LA 213-375-0428.  I'm not calling them back as I have no idea what they have or want for me, seems like an annoying scam.

I got a call yesterday from this man who claim that he wanted me to sign some paper and that he would be out in my area. If I did not sign that he was going to say that did not want to sign. when I ask him what his name was he said I did need to know . I told him to have a nice day.

A danielle shields called me from a 361-729-3955 said she was from nigaria portfollios and told me i was a lier and was very rude and argumentive with me asked for superviser and hung up on me and then kept calling and harrising me all day

Scam. Don't fall 4 it. A male recording called from 253-275-3734 stating he was from Niagara Portfolio & had 2 get in touch w/me immediately in regards 2 documentation in their office. 2 call them bk at this #.
