Called and won't leave a message for individual they are asking to speak with.

Though I was just getting a quote on line, I made a very bad mistake. No message.

You know you do not have to provide a Ph#.  Yes I know its a required field.  But I found a way around it.

I have found that you enter a valid area code and then 000-0000.  GUESS WHAT - NO ONE CAN CALL YOU!  

I tried it with 000 in the area code field and it would not accept it.  So you do have to enter an area code only.

TO AVOID IT  - Just enter a valid area code and 000-0000 as the number in the required field.

NO ONE CAN CALL YOU!

I didnt pick up the line because I didnt recognize the number but I googled it and got all this information about people being scammed.  They left no message identifying who they are... But they do have these different applications out now that you can get on your phone where people can crank call you and disguise there voice.

I got a call from them on my cell phone today, but I never requested any quotes from anywhere.  How do they have my cell number?  Very rude when I asked them not to call again.  "You don't have to get mad."  Go to hell, [***].

Not really, people aren't necessarily looking for "accurate" quotes off the bat they just want some simple information to ballpark the rate.

By the way, Matrix isn't about the best rate, they are about selling AIG life insurance.  Why?  Probably because they are owned by AIG.

Actually if you must want to avoid these phones just go to a site that doesn't require the information, dont beat the system, avoid it!

I always can never fill out these forms correctly because I dont have a last name, because I'm Icelandic

So after making my way off the Matrix Direct call plow I ended up just getting quotes from YourLifeSolution.com because they dont require personal information to get quotes.  

I specified the desire to speak via emails only, and I managed to buy a policy with no speaking to agent.

I filled out the on line info request. It was on Morningstar Premium content page. Less than 3 minutes later  I received my first phone call. No message. I am very disappointed that Morningstar would post adds like this on their paid content page.
