Called. I don't answer to calls I don't recognize. No message. Blocked them

Yeah...mine was a free cruise..was a recording so i let it talk to itself for a minute and hung up. Cant block numbers on Obama phones....sigh

Cruise to the Bahamas... SCAM.

Called no message.... Based on those that got a message I will block this number

Received a unwanted call from 858-716-6364, but didn't answer.  This individual didn't leave a message.

Called today. No message left. Is there any possible way to stop these calls? Other than blocking the calls, per device?

Called my office number 3 minutes ago; that office number is on the "do not call list". Got as far as "congratulations you..." & then I hung up.

Called, didn't pick up, no VM left.

What's an Obama phone?  Muslim?  African?  Communist?  Fascist?   I received a call from this scam because some Free Enterprise Business has pedaled my cell number out to the world... My guess is Target since their pharmacy has my number...

Caller left no message. Upon callback, connected to "Verizon Wireless Payment Center". Bots only. No human to speak to.

Caller left no message. Number is now blocked.

Call at 10:11 am.  Left a message consisting of 3 minutes of a strange humming sound.  A new addition to the reject list.

Said they were customer service. I hung up. I was expecting a call otherwise I wouldn't have answered it.

Called. Left no message.. I called back and recording picked up "Welcome to the Verizon national payment center". I don't have Verizon. I called back several times and now its constantly busy. Called back again and I get Verizon. May be  spoofed/forwarded number. I smell Debt collector or scam trickery

Been calling for a few days, three or more times a day. And actually called my cell phone too once.  No message left. Caller id just says out of area. I'm adding them to my many blocked calls.

Called my wife's phone said they ere Verizon anting a payment on our phone bill, we don't have  Verizon hahaha. Scammers

I just got a call from this number as well.  I do have Verizon cellphone service, but my account is up to date, nothing owing - and certainly nothing past due!  I called Verizon to check on this, and they confirmed that this is NOT from them.  Also, they never call from "Verizon national payment center" - the Verizon guy said they never refer to themselves that way.

Picked a call up from this number to my cell.  Recorded message starts..."CONGRATULATIONS!  You have been selected..." then I hung up.
I don't normally answer numbers I don't recognize, and this is why.

Honestly the government and FCC are useless in this area.  They pass laws they have no intention of enforcing.  The only solution is to just stop answering calls from unknown numbers.

I really wish we could get some enforcement of laws on the books...

No such thing as an Obama phone.  The free phones for those living in poverty was started before President Obama won the 2008 election.  Fox news has taken to calling them Obama phones...
