I've had calls of this type from different numbers, they all sound and function in a similar way, selling different things. And they're interactive recordings.

This one claimed I have some vacation prize package or something to that effect, they're obviously trying to sell something. It's a recording, don't hang up and listen through to the end where it asks if it's ok to ask a few questions. When I say NO the recording says ok sorry and stopped. In another one a few months ago selling something else the recording said sorry we won't bother you again.

So, there's a 50/50 chance to get your number off their list in this manner.

They called again and again. I still blocked them forever!!!!!

They called my cell phone.  When I returned the call, I got a robotic message: The verizon number you just called is out of service.
[***]...........They are scammers.  Be advised.

"Congratulations You Have Won a Cruise!"  Junk call to my Cell Phone which I only give to family members. I have also listed my cell number on the Government's Do Not Call List which obviously does no good!  This is not the first time they have called my cell number and they they have also called my land line a few times.

The DNC isn't a call blocker and can not protect you from the illegal callers, extortion scammers, foreign country's and frauds. Criminals do not obey laws simply said.    They use spoofed numbers which make it hard to track them down.. it takes time to do this and many subpoenas for call records.

For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Got a call from this number 10/12/15 at 12:31 PM - after blocking my number- I returned the call - Verizon trapped it with a recording as disconnected....like a vampire rising from the grave - these mf never go away.

San Diego Co area number (supposedly). 2 calls came in on my work number (really??) on 10/12/2015 (a holiday) at 4:00, like seconds apart. Can't use DNC list on work numbers. No messages.

This call is from a known criminal organization. Call your local FBI field office if you received a call from this number.

This number called me and no message left on voice mail.

Even though I had a hunch this was a robo scam call, for sh*ts & giggles, I stayed on the line to listen to what BS they would try to sell me AND to tell them to buzz off. It's a recording indicating I'm eligible for a discounted trip to the Bahamas. An AMAZING deal!!! Oh, yea, I'm sure. After a minute of listening to this crap, I hung up and blocked the number.

"Hi this is Tim from customer service. Can you hear me?  Thanks. For being such a valued customer . . ." yada, yada, yada.

Spoofed number. And, listen, people, the Do Not Call registry is useless. Do you think a criminal organization gives a hoot whether they are complying with federal law? Seriously.

Do Not Call list is useless. Criminals such as these do no care whether they are complying with federal law. And, the feds are too busy to care, either.

We get 2 to 3 phone calls from this exact phone number every single week!! It really needs to stop.

student loan scam.

Called today at 1:23 pm.  Some promotion about all inclusive stay/vacation- free.  SPAM!

Called on my CELL PHONE.  Male voice but acts just like the robocaller described for "Lifegiving Moments."
"Can you hear me OK?"  I did not reply.  "OK, great.  Thank you for being one of our most valued customers..."  I hung up and will block this number.  Customer of whom?
